  1. Naismith, Vellios, Anichebe, Beckford, Stracqualarsi (or whatever) .. Everton's crappy strikers always seem to score against us. We'll probably have to add Lukaku () to the list now.
  2. £1.6m for jogging around cones 5 times a week, missing sitters against unheralded European teams, getting on the bench once and fucking off to Ibiza and pouring icy water on himself. My heart weeps.
  3. He contributes nothing besides a body - not worth it. Get a real option instead.
  4. Meh, I just want us to get through quickly and easily as group winners. When you consider that we face City (A), Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A) and United (A) straight after 4 of our group games, it's beyond me why someone would want 'tough' fixtures. That just leaves no scope for rotation and rest. Besides, every 'strong' team in Europe is a known commodity - we'd not be learning anything new or useful (about them or us) that we don't already know.
  5. ^Can you stop with your canvassing now? Put a link to your blog in your sig.
  6. Watching Zenit vs Standard Liege ... is Hulk (bar Torres) the worst £30 million + player ever?
  7. On the contrary, this is (imo) absolutely not the match to go in with Azpi and Luis as our fullbacks. Ivanovic's recovery speed won't matter too much because I doubt he'd get as far forward as he has been doing recently, meaning there's less space in behind for him to protect. We'll probably see Coleman target Azpi and Ivan will be crucial in dealing with the crosses coming in from that side. Additionally there's the set-piece threat (in both boxes), which assumes even more importance in away games where we see less of the ball and hence create fewer chances from open play. Tbh I think there's a bigger chance of us going in with Ivan and Luis than Azpi and Luis.
  8. For someone who moans so much about the loan system, Wenger sure isn't hesitant to look for one himself.
  9. He is an absolute steal at 30m euro; about the same price as Lovren. Javi Martinez's injury has cost us.

  11. It was indeed annoyance, but it doesn't translate to Fabregas being above criticism, which is what you seem to have inferred.
  12. Petr Cech owns twitter, bitches.
  13. Yup, like I said I was on about the ones I've known for years - my mates - all United, all complete cocks when it comes to football and 'banter'.
