Yeah he really played amazingly...a whole hearted performance.. Can't believe someone can run this much without losing direction despite losing so much blood... I guess Russians have really strong mentality

Sick of all the Man U fans keep saying that we won because the second goal was offside, and we bribed the referee...I mean, think about it, we were leading and cruising before the goal, dominated the first half, and still maintained a 50% possesion before that goal, does that mean we don't deserve to win? and mind you that Man U wouldn't have scored if we didn't score the second goal, we would keep our focus and shut them out till the end.. some of the fans are just sore loser who knows nothing bout football

We are usually stable at home, apart from the match against Inter and Man City, so I don't think we should lost the believe that we can win every remaining games at home, including this one. Start Joe Cole instead of Sturridge and keep Deco in the line-up because i think he did well the last match. But if Carlo really thinks Anelka had to start, we will have to change to whole thing n make sure he plays right up front together with Drogba. Villa is one of the most hardworking team in the league so to win we need to work at least as hard as them, if not harder.

This is a massive confidence booster, but we all know the real test come in the next game against villa, and if we play like how we did in the first half we stand no chance. Villa are no Portsmouth and they have a defense that is almost impossible to breach at the moment. So lets celebrate this win n hope for the best!

Well they did showed up with the right attitude in the Blackburn game, at least for the first 10 minutes or so.. n it evaporated as the match goes on, we used to be mentally tougher, I wonder if this has something to do with the half time talk

We will win this one big, 3 or 4 goals, i trust the players and they are going to show up with the right attitude... Portsmouth had become one of the toughest team to beat in premier league and we need to prove we are still title contenders by beating them, not just beating them, but beat them convincingly away from home, thats the Chelsea we know.

I REALLY REALLY thought we could bounce back from the champions league disappointment and win big, maybe 4 or 5-0 after our first goal, the players seem to show the hunger to win that we lack in recent matches. BUT in the second half we were DISAPPONTING, giving away possession too cheaply, and almost being bullied by Blackburn players in every high ball and 50/50 tackle. They just wanted it more and we are contented to sit back thinking that we can win 1-0 without trying, there was just not enough focusing. Lampard did not play well today, and losing Ivanovic just make things worse. Watching this is heartbreaking, i wish Carlo can sort this out soon, the players seem to lose their winning mentality. But all credit to Blackburn players, Samba was a rock at the back, nothing could go past him, Salgado showed he still had it, Jones had a great debut and even Diouf played great. Well done Blackburn. Its not all gone though, we need to focus on trying to win the next game, Deco came on and showed some nice touches and Drogba tried really really hard. HOpefully we can bounce back.
