i was watching the replay of our 4-2 win over barcelone which is one of my favourite matches ...... i realised how good we used to be and how far have we dropped !!!!! we used to be very inspirational very confident we gave any opponent a very hard time not just because we were strong or because we were invincible but because we used to jump on the back on every player who had the ball that he wouldnt have any time to think what should he do we made them made mistakes we had loads of confidence and the players were magnifecent may be some of them wasnt as great in name as our squad right now but they did whatever it took to earn thier places statistics back then were magnifecent i remeber times when i see makalelele running 13 kilometers as well as lamps and godjunsen....... unfortunately those days are long gone and now we look like an aging side i think we have a confidence problem as well you can see that in the players eyes me myself i can see it easily in lampards eyes so what is the problem and who is to be blamed ...???? is it the players like ballack deco anelka joe cole kalou and even sometimes cech who are supposed to be a group of the best players all over the world but instead they always seem to look less than average and they slip a lot .... or it is ancelotti who couldnt get the best out of his players and who couldnt give them the needed confidence and motivation before matches like man city everton aston villa and lately inter milan when our players looked like they didnt wanna finish the match and just wanted to go home .... or all of this is a result of abrahimovic and the sacking of mourinho then changing three different managers ...... or its just because all of the above ??????????????????????????????????????????????

i ve read a lot lately about a major bid for torres of at least 50 millions ...... offcourse torres is one of the best sharpest and most feared strikers in the world i would love to have him ..... but i would love to have aguero more as long as we have DD because torres canot play as a second striker or as a winger ...... also he is 27 while aguero is only 21 .... torres already proved he has more than what it takes to handle the epl toughness but he as well proved that he is injured for nearly half of each season ...... i hope that players like torres , villa , gerard , maicon , snieder , alves which are all linked with Chelsea right now wont make it to the team .... and instead others will.... like aguero , pato , di maria , ribery , suazo , hamsik . pjanic ,dzagov ......

thats true we are having a confidence problem players and fans but i cant choose not to blame carlo regarding that because simply one of his job part is to give your players the needed confidence and the required motivation .... i am not saying its all his fault but he gotta have part of the blame as well as the players ....

hamsik is a midfielder not a striker and i rate him very highly he has a lot in common with frank lampard .... he know how to time his run into the box he has an amazing shot and his passing game is great but defensively he is not very solid but he is good so he can work on that .... his only problem is that he prefers to play in the same place as lamps .....

does anyone know how stoch is progressing in fc twente so far ..... the last i heard he was very impressive scoring a lot and having a great run but for about 2 months now i haven't heard anything about him !!!!..... do you know how is he doing there esk....??

yes i dont think he will leave and i dont want him to leave ..... but what grapped my attention was not the possible targets or exits it was the statistics about each of our managers and the fact that ancelotti comes 4th in points per game after hiddinck mourinho and grant ......

okay i am reopening this thread because i feel we really need major changes ...... yes we should support all the players and all the team members but we should analyze and find the errors and our mistakes to work on it ...... from what i ve seen we will see some new faces in our squad next team as we need to and we have to ...... but lets start by who should leave and who shouldnt ....... there are some players who must leave and i will not even waste my and your time explaining why as we all know why they are belleti ferrera and deco joe cole will be next ... the guy cant even count as a football player anymore he cant get a place in any team in the epl with his form ..... kalou no impact no influence no reason no real will no real power no reason to keep him in the team anelka is not a bad striker but he is an awful winger so unless carlo is planning on keeping him as a sub for drogba he should leave as well but i know thats not gonna happen .... ballack he is not the same anymore but he has great awareness and tactical skills so i would love him to stay for next year but stay on the bench and get someone to replace him in the starting eleven .... mikel i would love to see him next to ballack on the bench and get some time every now and then to help him improve but untill he is mature and good enough to play for Chelsea dont want him in the start up line ... he is a good cover for essien as well now we are out of the ucl so we just have epl games so i would love to see kakuta borini sturridge and maticgetting some playing time to be prepared to get more regular playing time next season specially matic and kakuta ..... aguero right now is essential we have no attacking solutions right now we need someone with his pace and sharpness he will have a great influence ....... we need someone to replace ballack someone with fresh legs who keeps running around in the midfield without stopping like fletcher does for man utd ..... that guy may be hamsik .. so i would like to see our start up line for next year : cech ivanovic/bosingwa carvahlo/alex terry a.cole essien hamsik lampard malouda aguero and drogba .... with ballack mikel and matic as covers for midfield please i dont wanna see belleti and deco there next year .... and kakuta anelka sturridge and borini covers for our front line ... and our defence line is the best in europe we dont need any changes there ..... also some creativity in midfield if carlo is planning on using the diamond again ribery will be very useful and can be used as a winger as well

well first of all i would like to congratulate intermilan as they deserved it more and no one can deny the man who made the difference in this match was the special one (jose mourinho ) as he said it was both of his teams playing against each other ... he picked who should win ..... offcourse the refree wasnt the best and inter's player were aggressive and were falling around but we should know better some people think its not fair to play like that but back when we used to do it in mourinho's days i didnt feel it was unfair at all ..... again inter deserved to progress and we didnt .. yes may be if kalou had his penalty in the 1st leg. it would have made a big difference and yes we should have been awarded a penalty today but that simply wasnt the real eason behind our big disappointment .... its because simply they wanted it more and they have absolutely shown that on the pitch every player of theirs were doing their best with each and every ball they were fighting but we didnt fight back ...... our players lacked the motivation inter had and i certainly blame ancelloti for that offcourse they should be self motivated and they ae big players but every manager should prepare his players mentally before games like that ..... as i have said before this is not ancelloti chosen squad as he was forced to play some players that i think he didnt want but he had to because he had no other options like ballack joe cole anelka mikel and offcourse zhirkov and turnbull because of injuries ... certainly i think all of the Chelsea fans would love to see big changes next season we need joe cole anelka kalou deco feriera belleti out ASAP they are useless shit ...... but there are 3 players that have been always criticized by the fans and imo are doing a good job not the best but they are doing thier best they are ballack mikel and carvahlo .... ballack plays a very important role in our midfield he is the glue that holds the team together yes may be he is very slow rightnow and may be he cant even make a decent sprint but his tactical abilities and his movement on the pitch is super i think we all noticed how we missed him when he was changed ..... mikel shouldnt be compared to essien because essien is the best DM itm if wanna compare him compare him with the likes of song mascherano and carick they are all big names but mikel is as good as anyone of them certainly he needs to improve his game but i think he is working on that carvahlo is the same case as ballack ... he is not the same carvahlo but he relies on his experience and awareness and for me he has been doing a very good job this season ..... so stop blaming our defence because when you play an attacking mind football as we do right now you will certainly be exposed if your offence cant pressure the opponents defenders and get you some goals to make the opponent struggle thats what inter did today thier defence as a line isnt so solid as it looked sometimes but you can see how we struggled to get the ball to our forward with ease ...... finally we have a lot of injuries and we really are missing a.cole and essien but cech .... i didnt miss him as turnbell was great tonight ..... i really hope that i am gonna miss anelka joe cole belleti and feriera soon ...

i would rather have aguero than pato in my team .... pato is much more fragile and gets injured a lot ... also aguero plays with more heart sometimes he looks like a very very skillful tevez ..... exactly what we need also about the wage demand thing i think they will only cut the wages of players who are way overpaid like ballack joe cole and anelka ..... they wont do it with terry lampard or drogba because they deserve thier wages ...... so i agree that el kun is asking for too much and we probably shouldnt agree with that but we have to be prepared to pay a lot to get a player with his quality ........ imo we should get him no matter what ... we bought ballack and sheva with too much many and gace them too much wages when they were over 30 .... we had the opportunity to sign ribery 3 years ago with 25 millions and we didnt take it ...... so lets just for once sign the right person at the right age .....

if ancelotti really takes anelka out of the pitch against inter i will have a great respect for him ..... that will be a master move by a great tactician it will have a great influence on the whole team and i agree that j.cole will be our best option there ... but cant see ballack out ... obviously his running days are over but with essien out injured and deco will be no good there as well so we are stuck with him but i would love to see matic given some time every now and then ..... he is real class

cech ivanovic alex terry zhirkov mikel ballack lampard j.cole malouda drogba ...... i hope that will be our formation on tuesday and that will be 3 changes from the usual start up line alex instead of carvahlo not just because his more solidity and physical strenght defensively because he always looks like scoring in corners and free kicks also he can score like he did against liverpool last season ... zhirkov because obviously we need malouda upfront and zhirkov is better than feriera ...... finally joe cole simply because since we switched back to the 4 3 3 system anelka plays like shit i cant even remeber him scoring or assisting or even making one good assist or shot so we have two opyions either joe cole or kalou .... kalou can be a very good impact sub as well as anelka but j.cole is not the same if there is any chance j.cole is gonna have a good match its only if he starts .....and having anelka and kalou on the bench means that whneever you feel danger you can enter those two and for sure they will have some impact ......

i will have to go with ivanovic ... i cant even remember a single match in which he wasn't outstanding ... pretty solid in the back and made some decent assists going forward and i dont think any lb will have a good day facing iva .... but also cant ignore drogba's contributions to the team also there were few matches where he wasnt top form like vs inter and man u which are our biggest two games so far ...... so for me IVANOVIC

well i have got to admit i have never rated malouda highly before and i always thought he is not good enough to be a 1st team player in Chelsea but ..... recently i have been really impressed with his performance and his consistency as without a doubt now he is one of the main threats in our attack .. specially that he is the only winger/play-maker we have on form right now ... anelka is not any good in that position , joe cole and kalou are far away from being on form or to be a threat so .... also one of the things that i used to hate about malouda was that he never looked like scoring and used to waste unbelievable chances and he gave the ball away too much but obviously that has changed now .... i just wanted to give him my support and i hope he keep going like that because IMO he is still not yet a world-class star but he definitely can be if he keeps doing what he is doing and just added more speed to his game ....
