  1. After today's line up, I honestly hope he puts in transfer request. Kid your dream of being a lampard wont be possible because you will be dropped for players who have a higher market value. I love this kid, and hopefully he leaves before we ruin his career.
  2. What exactly has GUTLESS guss even given us except for a change of face. Utterly Shamefull. Should be booed along with the whole squad in the next game.
  3. At chelsea? You serious? We just had a 20 year old kid play light years ahead of any other player on the team against CL semi-finalists and get dropped like a sack of potatoes for the next. He has as much chance of being at chelsea as i have of scoring with Ms winslet.
  4. Pellegrini just gave Illeahnacho an oppurtunity ahead of Bony in a meaningful match that could decide their Top 4 fate. What has Guss done. Did he give RLC a chance or was he forced to? Hazard was injured, as was willian, Matic was injured the only midfielder we had were Mikel, cesc, RLc, oscar, Pedro and each of them started. We dont have CBs and instead of giving a chance to Miazga he is playing a 28 year old DM who has no future in the club a chance to play at CB rather than give the youngster the experience. What happens if Pedro scores a hattrick today? what happens if Cesc gives 3 assists? They become World class and carry this form into the next season? Believe me they wont. But if we gave RLC and Traore that oppurtunity, that experience would make them much better. Honestly mate, How can you even compare these 2 scenarios. Look at the situations and the decisions. I like how you want to see the positive in everything. But lets call a spade a spade. GUTLESS GUS. There were some rumors of starting the chant, hopefully it rings loud and clear in the next home game. HOPELESS. DISGRACEFUL
  5. The most awful season, the most awful manager. I cant even start to express my disgust with him. Just look at that line up. If JT was fit, would even Baba be starting? Honestly Guss, are you kidding us. A lot of fans around the bridge have started calling him Gutless Guss and rightly so. First Jose and now him. What a sad season. Cant wait for it to simply end. Shit players, Shit manager.
  6. Oh dear. Beyond hopeless clueless. Rather watch aston villa play than these turds. Well done Gutless Guss. Well Done.
  7. We will see in 15 minutes if Gutless Gus can show Balls for once.
  8. I dont hate Pedro. I nothing him. Honestly. He is a bang average player (who at the likes of affelay, krick, and other barcelona rejects). They have been brought up playing one way. All throughout their formative years. Hardly a surprise that they look world beaters in Barcelona's system, but have failed immensely in any other team. Moreover, he was not brought to be a squad player. You dont spend 21 million quids on "squad players". You dont have only Hazard, Oscar and Willian as your AMs along with kenedy and traore, then buy the likes of pedro and say that he is a good squad player. His role in the squad is of a starter. And I will rate him as such. Same goes for Cahill. I am not discrediting anyone's past for us. Cahill and Ivanovic have been great members of the squad. Well so has DD and Lamps and Ash and zola and Vialli and Gullit, but just like them, they have passed their expiry dates. Iva definitely has and Cahill is a decent player and a decent defender. Not a world class player. Yes, he is a good "squad player" but for the next season, we should be looking for a massive upgrade (like Hummels) while having Zouma and Andreas. You can understand why I would not want him as a chelsea player next season. For the 4th CB spot, I would rather have JT. Mate, Colkett has something that Josh never would. One of them is "fight", the other is a footballing IQ. Yes, he does not have a unique capability, did Super FRank have any? Does Muller? I love watching that kid play and have seen many times. If not here, he will go on to become a great football somewhere else. And by now, we all have had a mild taste of how that feels like. Wait till we have the likes of RLC, Colkett, Traore, Musonda, Boga, Silva all go on to become great players while we keep on buying mercenaries good enough to become "squad players".
  9. Well, so are oscar, pedro, cahill, ivanovic and baba. Yet we play them every game. No problem in playing one of the best academy prospects in a dead rubber. Would love to see Hazard - Costa -Traore Colkett-matic-RLC SHIT Defence Begovic for today's match
  10. I get your point now. But I would like RLC to be given that role. We will be without any european distractions next season, so we will be playing somewhere between 40-50 matches. Its the perfect time to give a major squad role to RLC as a back up to cesc. Buy a B2B like radja, and have RLC, baker and Pasalic as the back ups to them (cesc-matic-radja). As for Oscar, getting a 35 year old scott parker would be an upgrade on Oscar. I seriously think the limited oppurtunities that RLC would get because of the inclusion of Pjanic will hurt us in the long run. RLC has shown he is here for the long run and he has the capability. Lets get him to build on this rather than playing him in dead rubber in a team where 6-7 players seem like they cant be bothered.
  11. No kidding. If he spends half the energy on the field that he does on talk shows and social networking sites (tweeters and insta somethings), he would be a world beater.
  12. Kenedy was a 5million pound signing. Hardly a "youth" player.
  13. No Clue. Hopefully we get Andreas back and sign a proper CB and end this nonsense.
  14. I am not sure if perisic can be described as the flavour of the month. He is more like a Papy/Hector/Marin/Moses/falcao/hector signing.
  15. Jose will finally do something good for us in that scenario. Hopefully stones goes to united for 50 odd million or whatever crazy crapping shit amount everton puts on the table. Meanwhile we can buy some actually good CBs and/or recall Andreas.
  16. Good points mate. But I think the point that you make regarding the wages and fee would be applicable to the likes of Mikel and maybe even Cahill, I dont think that would be a problem at all with Oscar. Moreover, we cant guarantee CL/EL football to our players, the likes of united/juve/roma/bvb can. Pedro was chased after United, Oscar is still being linked with juve, Cahill is a Homegrown player. I can see the likes of everton going for him (with Jagielka getting closer to retirement). With Mikel, it would obviously be difficult. Accepted. Again, while I accept the first part of your argument, I just cant accept the 2nd. GC, mikel, Pedro and Oscar are average players and not worthy of Bench options. They add nothing to the team. If we had andreas in place of christensen, musonda in place of pedro, RLC starting every minute in place of Oscar would it affect us one bit? I honestly dont think so. I think the price tags have made it look differently. We are a club which boasts of the best Youth academy or rather the most Successful Youth Academy in the world. Its time they are a part of this. Thats the point mate. We dont need to buy players to replace the bench options. We already have them. They are simply out on loan playing for vitesse, betis, monchengladbach. Thats it. Again, I do get the point of not going over baord with the overhaul, but by god, if any team ever needed a overhaul, its us.
  17. Mate, while I love the theory, the reality of it would be shocking, in my opinion. Barcelona had a system to go along with xavi and iniesta. More importantly, Barcelona had Messi. Take out messi and you wou will see a massive difference in them. Emulating the best team to ever have played is a dangerous path to take and one which we definitely should not be going down. Cesc, Pjanic, Matic still does not solve our problems. We will again be over run. We will again have to face teams match after match who bully us on the ocunter while having no answer to any of them. Another thing that this midfield does not solve is physicality. Matic is a softie, despite his size. Pjanic and cesc are well... lesser said the better. Honestly speaking, going into the season which this midfield 3 would be really disappointing and an indication of not to expect much. On the other hand, if we replace either of pjanic/cesc with radja, we have a well balanced (-ish) team.
  18. Fair enough mate. Though i have a bit different thinking about the bench players. First of all, getting rid of Iva, JT, cesc, Pato and Falcao wont fetch us anything. Simply free our wages. Considering how our board has been working, we will be spending what we earn. Now coming onto the bench players like Oscar, Pedro, Mikel, Cahill. I just dont see the point of keeping them around. Infact, I would sell them and keep JT, iva, Cesc if given an option. These players not only have a good market value and fetch us good amounts, but also, these are the players who make us the most mediocre. Oscar can be replaced with Baker (considering we shift to 4-3-3 so we are just looking at CMs not no.10) and perform a better role. Pedro for me has been one of the worst performers. Again if we play 4-3-3, then we have hazard, willian, cuadrado for wing position. Give the 4th spot to Kenedy/musonda. Cahill is simply not good enough. Another one who can get us some fee. If the option for the 4th CB spot is between GC and JT then I would much rather have JT. For the 3rd CB position (zouma and new CB being the 1st 2), I would definitely have Andreas. Cahill is not good enough to be the 3rd choice. Mikel has been a great servant. But we need him to leave. Irrespective of who else we are keeping, Mikel needs to go. He simply is not good enough. I dont play Fifa. My kids do though. But i can get the analogy. Is not what has happened this season also Fifa-ish (I think you mean unrealistic by that). I am not advocating buying 10 new players, but simply replacing half of them with our youth while the other half with some high profile signings.
  19. Imagine, just Imangine stones here for 50 million. Bullet - Dodged. What is his worth right now? 10-15 million? Still should not buy him. Worse than luiz
  20. RLC, Baker, Abraham, Colkett, Palmer, Musonda, Christensen, thats 7 players right there. I would like to add Ake and Da Silva to that list. Then we have some real good talents like Solanke and Boga. 8 - 10 players are a LOT. Plus if Conte has half a brain, Traore will be a big part of our future. We have all the ingredients right here. We have some big names deadwood who still have a brilliant market price (Oscar, Pedro, Cesc), we have some other deadwood that can fetch some money too (Cahill, Mikel, Moses, Mvg) and I am sure after the kind of season we have had, Roman will gladly sign a few blank cheques. So we have money, we have the best youth academy in the world, all we need is someone to put it all together.
  21. In my opinion, a top class CM rather than a no.10. We will have either of cesc and RLC in the team. The best formation for both of them is 4-3-3.
  22. Atleast RLC could control and pass the ball. Unlike some other multi millionaire who has problems with the most basic of footballing abilities and attributes. But sure, he provides "balance". I am sure oscar will be a vital cog for some championship side or some chinese side. And I am also pretty sure he will reach his amazing "potential" at the age of 56. But i would be honored if Sir Oscar just leaves us and lets us be mediocre. We dont deserve his unbelievable footballing skills and balance providing.
  23. Fine, then lets look at reasons why Guss would play costa ahead of traore, pedro ahead of Kenedy, mikel-cesc ahead of any youth player but he plays RLC ahead of oscar. Well I think a simple reason, Oscar has been found out and told he will be sold in the summer, simple as. The correlation was based on the selection, never on the result. Our results and performances with or without oscar have been terrible this season. BUT, i do know one thing for a fact, oscar cant put in half as good a performance as RLC put in against city. FACT!
  24. Because our results with Oscar in the side has been tremendous this year, right? And that too while we had a thing or 2 to play for compared to the current scenario.
