How is pedro better than cuadrado? Juan came to a team which was set in its ways. We were going to play Hazard-oscar-willian under jose until one of them dropped dead. And in case someone did drop dead, we played Hazard-cesc-willian with a pivot of rambo/mikel-matic. How can anyone label cuadrado the worst buy after 311 minutes of PL action is beyond me. Whats worse is that these 311 minutes happened over the course of 12 games, which means he got 25 minutes per game. And as far as I remember, most of these appearances were when we were a slender lead ahead and needed to defend for our lives. On the other hand we have a headless chicken in pedro who has had a WHOLE season with us and has done nothing. Cant dribble, finishing is pathetic. And while we are on the subject, I would rather take Moses over Pedro next season. Dont people realise how utterly shit shit Pedro has been. He has failed to be called even average in a season where we are 10th. Also, for his "good form" before injury, it was against the worst teams in the league. So lets not exaggerate. Put in Moses/Cuadrado/Musonda against Newcastle and the way they defended that day and each of them would get a brace too.

This. Get Laporte/Marquinhos or even Barzagli as per the rumors, recall christensen, keep JT, sell the guy in your avatar. Similarly, sell oscar, pedro, keep hazard, willian, cuadrado, kenedy for the winger positions and buy a couple of world class mids and once and for all, drop this 4-2-3-1 charade and simply play 4-3-3. I wont mind a midfield 3 of radja-matic-cesc. There are rumors of vidal which would be unbelievable. We would have enough money to buy the players, thats for sure. I personally would like to add 2 quality midfielders like radja and vidal. Matic and cesc already here. RLC and musonda as back ups. If not vidal then someone like Kante. And i would not mind if matic leaves. Replace him with MVG. But atleast 2 quality mids are necessary. How did we go from Ballack, lampars, essien, makelele to cesc, matic, mikel, rlc. Why would players like Dybala and James even consider coming to Chelsea? They are first teamers in the top 5 team of the world. Massive parts of the squads. Dont think its at all possible. Again, fair enough on the AVB example but I have to add something here. Musonda vs Oscar. A 19 year old Rookie vs a proven PL-EL-LC winner. I know oscar is no where near costa's level but I am simply giving a for instance here. I would definitely say that musonda is a better "OPTION". Not saying "Player" but an "Option". The amount of risk we take replacing oscar with a rookie is acceptable for me considering musonda's talent. Similarly, it goes for lukaku. Also, to say, Lukaku got a chance at chelsea is just unfair. a match against fulham in league cup and a couple of minutes as a sub is not a chance. As for 2014 world cup, so did hazard and one of the main disappointment of the world cup was costa himself. Its not the correct stage to judge a 20 year old. I can match all of those examples with lukaku's too. Costa's link up play leaves a lot to be desired. 5 months, when he was not scoring, he was not doing "ANYTHING".

When you are comparing a 27 year old settled striker and a 22 year old massive prospect, you cant begin an argument with "Guy1 has won 2 titles hence he is better than Guy2". Exactly Lukaku is a brilliant player. Costa is better on "FORM". We all saw how poor he was when out of form because most of his general game play is poor. Linking up, aerial ability, creating chances, dribbling, all of these aspects lukaku is much better at. Costa's running behind the defenders and running the channels is second to none, but when he is not scoring, he can be very very frustrating to watch and almost a liability..

Hence, i brought the age into consideration which is only fair since expecting a 22 year old to lead teams to league titles is not only unfair but also stupid when specially when you spend years on loan at teams like WBA. Lukaku has come leaps and bounds in his development, which was expected by most of the match goers. I have been reading your assessment of Lukaku, and quite frankly, you are either butthurt about him leaving or simply have no idea about what you are talking. comparing borini to lukaku, seriously mate. Strange. Messi/CR have been carrying teams on their backs for years. I have my own eyes and a lot of experience in football to judge him.
