And our deadwood not being wanted and nobody willing to back down and take a price hit on them. Its difficult.

Im sorry but I'm at a complete loss as to why we would bring this 21 year old in only to loan him out. I thought we were having to cut our loan numbers down? It Shirley cant be to get more exprerience? He seems to have had plenty of that. As whats been said the kid gets good air and from what Ive seen of him he looks relaxed and comfortable with the ball. I too like having big defenders but I spent some time looking up our ex top players heights and compared them to current and our new ones are mostly taller. I think its more mental. We need a strong willed general/commander and a ball playing passer that doesnt mind getting stuck in. We wont be able to rely much on Ben defence wise from what I pick up so we will need a strong CDM for support. We really got no idea of what FL sees as our formation and who plays where yet.The lack of a proper pre season put the kaibosh to that. So hes not had any real chance of playing different players and combinations together. Unless he gets that bit right we may have problems to start with me thinks.

I kinda agree but the problem is bud we have that same old monkey on our back. The back 5!!! We bave only brought in 1 proper defender and hes not playing. So alllll those teams that took us apart on the break are still going to be looking to do it. I THINK that FL THINKS like you and HOPES we score a couple early with our new amazing attack that it just demoralizes the opposition so they give in. I'll just add that I can see some headlines and meltdowns we will have this season. Ive neen doing a lot of reading about our main 3 buys and its made interesting reading. It seems to START with each of them were slagged odd by their own fans. Because the make/take so many chances theres some that go wildly wronf. He was a child how he behaved. Sulking,pouting,threw all his toys out of his pram because he was left on the bench awhile. Didn't help the mood in the dressing room at all. Then instead of holding his hands up like a man and saying Ok I'm sorry. I was angry and frustrated he blamed it on a 6 year old daughter. I wouldnt care who had done that I would lose respect for them.

Its what we do in general. Just banter and comparing him (all players) to the standard we wished we had. Always makes me laugh how we might slag a particular one of our platers off yet other teams rate him. I dont go on social media but can only imagine the grief players get on there.
