The best thing about this half is we're only down one goal. This is so deflating.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind Costa getting a yellow card in this match. I'm sure the Spurs match is going to be a fiery affair, and if he were to pick up a card in that match, he'd miss the City fixture. I'd feel a lot more comfortable with him missing Spurs at home than City away.

They're the last team without a loss, so I've been seeing some more "We're the best team" talk. Reminds me of the guy who called in after last season claiming Spurs were the best team last season.

I wish I could point to some specific examples. I just know this has been a common narrative for years. On days when the clubs around us mess up, we fail to fully capitalize on the opportunity.

It's not like we're having a hard time finding midfielders to play. Does Rohr really believe Mikel deserves to start over Matic or Kante? Just because Mikel is your most influential player doesn't mean he is our most influential player. Mikel has been fairly good regarding his lack of playing time. I don't want idiots like Rohr inflating his ego and making this turn ugly.

I think he's showing his role in the quick passing moves he put on today. It's so different from the hold-the-ball-until-you-have-to-pass tactics they played last season. I wanted Pedro gone after last season, but if he keeps at this role in this system, he could be one of the first starters listed on the sheet.

It's time away from further improving the new system. It's nearly two weeks of lost training.

The club was built for a completely different system and the board didn't get all of the targets needed to seemlessly change. There's going to be a lot of players playing out of position for the rest of the year and season. With that much time to adapt, the players that do will stay. The ones that don't fit anywhere will be shipped out. For now, we have to make do with what we can. If Conte means that they could be long-term replacements, then they must be doing something well in training to hint to Conte that they could be useful in that role. I don't think Pedro defends well enough and I haven't seen enough of Aina to judge. With Ivanovic, I just want him to leave.

Him apologizing? Yeah right

United just got Mourinho'ed. 37 shots and the bulk of possession and nothing to show for it. Looks like Mourinho needs to take some pointers from Ginger Mourinho.

It didn't work last season, and it's not working so far for United, but something obviously worked in 2015. Maybe they won in spite of Mourinho, but I believe it takes the whole club to win a league title. Just as I blame him for much of what happened last season, I still give him much credit for winning the league. Aside from that, I'm just glad we've moved on and are looking much better than United. Last weekend made it pretty obvious that Mourinho's tactics were a major culprit last season.

I think thats a bit of an overstatement. I mean, we did win the league just two seasons ago.

I remember seeing a shot of him looking pissy on the bench.

I'm sure Barrow's reaction didn't help the case when it happened live. I totally agree with you.

I didn't see it live, so I don't know where the referee was, but my first reaction was that it was cynical, he had no chance of winning the ball and he kicked out at a player that had beaten him. Then you get Barrow going down the way he did. It looked worse than it was. im guessing it'll be successfully appealed.

I really hope so, but I'll believe it when I see it. I have full faith in the club hierarchy when it comes to making money. It's spending money that I'm worried about.
