Anyway i'll believe it when it's official. He may say he won't play against Chelsea but that's far from the point. He'll be going out to win Man City vital points and we're possibly their closest competitors so he's the enemy. It brings back memories of Denis Laws back heel at old trafford. This cannot happen.
-
He doesn't have to go there. He's a Chelsea legend, perhaps our greatest ever but does he need to go there? No.
-
someone has to be sympathetic to the pathetic.
-
Just in case nobody is aware or i'm too lazy to look .... He's rejoined us as he did in 2004 as number 15. Salah is 17 if someone wants to modify these threads. Hope he plays in our next game. Can't wait to see him again.
-
We all know he's shit. We know what we're gonna get from him and that's a useless performance but the flick pass down the line was good, the shot for the 2nd goal was decent and the miss was just unlucky imo. I've seen loads of players miss them.
-
He was better today than in the other few games. He seemed more direct, had some good touches and used his right a bit more. His problem is that he's too left footed and doesn't mix it up enough. He's really quick and will get better.
-
Tbh he didn't do a lot wrong (apart from miss it). It was fizzed at him and he just tried to chest it in which is what most would do. I've been in that situation before and it really is not easy to control coming at that pace. You just need to get something on it and hope. To get it over from there is just so unlucky, he did a few decent things when he came on. Still... he won't play much next season anyway.

I like Romeu and i liked his interview saying that he feels at home at Chesea. The contract extension was a surprise for me but it's a squad game and every player counts. Jose obviously likes him and has seen a fair bit of him.
-
We have the perfect squad imo. It was a great test because we played a team that were fit and really wanted to beat us. Saying that, we really coulda won 5-1 with a better set of officials and the Torres miss but it was a great test and a great first look at Costa and Cesc who were excellent. I'm happy with the job today and proper looking forward to seeing the full first team squad together.

MOTM today by a mile. As much as i detested him at Arsenal, there's no doubting his ability. He's a class footballer with great vision and execution of his passing. Him and Matic could be a perfect fit. I'm so excited about seeing our first choice team with Hazard and Oscar with them. *DROOLING*
-
Certainly a confidence boosting start. Him and Cesc could be the key partnership all season. Brilliant, confident, deadly finish.
-
After taking over from Vialli after relegating Atletico Madrid, i was convinced this would be a horrible appointment but somehow he turned us around and made us more of a team again with his managerial experience. He was treated harshly but it has proved to be the right call both appointing him and relieving him. I'll always thank him for what he done with us.

This is madness really, the thought of seeing Drogba playing for us again under Mourinho is something beyond my wildest dreams. And i thought us signing Cesc Fabregas was crazy enough. I do however think it's a pretty pointless signing and i would've preferred Drogba's last touch to have stayed that pen in Munich but i still cannot wait to see him play for us again. I don't care what anyone says.... Didier Drogba is the greatest striker EVER to play for this club.

I like these games. I mean, why play top teams in the USA when we can play smaller teams in our own continent that deserve to see some top teams travel to them. Playing tough games against great teams in pre season is pointless imo. Pre season is about fitness, confidence and getting used to team mates, formations etc. I'm glad we're doing this. I hope we can put on a good show and win 3,4-0.
-
I think this will be more to help Lukaku and to be a coach rather than needing to play. Obviously it would be great to see him play against Arsenal again though. I'd rather his last kick for us stay that kick from 12 yards in Germany.
-
Really hyped to see the new guys play. 10-0
-
Bit lucky but was a good flick and it was extremely key.
-
Oh yeah i keep forgetting Chelsea TV. Sweet.
-
Welcome to Chelsea Diego. You're a dick but you're our dick and i can't wait to see you in a Chelsea shirt.
-
I think this World Cup could be the lift off for Andre's Chelsea career. I'd put him ahead of Willian now. He was one of Germany's best players in Brazil and obviously set up the goal too and scored a crucial goal against Algeria as well as rubbing Brazil's noses in it. He's gonna have a good season.
-
This match is literally a half hour walk down my road but no chance of going because it only holds about 4000 and the Chelsea support in Kingston is insane. I very much doubt we'll get a stream for this. Hoping for another huge win with loadsa goals, especially from the likes of Bamford who i really like. I'd love him to one day break through and play for England.
-
How has this even happened. I'm in shock. I dunno whether to jump for joy or jump off my balcony. Chelsea sign Cesc Fabregas? Wow.
-
I'm not sure i can even believe this is happening. Cesc fucking Fabregas? Really? I don't even know what to say. Replacing Lampard with one of Lampards most hated players, one of our most hated players, a player who loves Arsenal and is probably only going to us because no one else wants him. There's no love in this relationship.
-
I still can't get over it, £50m for Luiz after they've been fined £48m for FFP, it's unbelievable. I like David Luiz but you cannot turn down an offer l like that unless it's for Hazard. Of all players, Luiz? He's class but worth around £25m imo, the stats prove that we're better without him. It's an incredible offer. This deal could actually win us the league. We were probably gonna splash the cash anyway, but now we can go all out and get the dream striker. I cannot wait for the deals to start happening. Incredible.

This has been a quite fantastic day. I wish i had watched that in a pub full of scousers! How funny was that, absolutely hilarious. I'm still in shock.
