Costa, Matic, Cesc, Emenalo and Eva had more to do with Jose getting fired than Eden.

I think people are indifferent. If we play amazing on Saturday then they clearly were not enjoying playing under Jose. But obviously everyone wants the results to improve.

He's a fraud who refused to improve the squad over the summer and butchered the Stones transfer. He's as much to blame as Jose for this.

Nice to hear. Fresh voices are always nice. The board really didn't do that great a jon though tbh. The only really good bit of business was Zouma and Azpi. Cesc went cheap cause Barca didn't need him, Costa had a release clause and Matic was unproven. We've been bargain hunters and a selling club lately and it has clearly hurt us. Don't get me started on the John Stones deal. Absolutely awful. This will alienate a lot of fans from the board, Roman better not mess up or he'll have a mess on his hands.

First, welcome to the site. Great post and i absolutely agree on all points. I understand why Jose got the sack, but I'm still disappointed. He won us the league just 6 months ago. Now he's gone, again. At a certain point you have to take focus off the manager and look at the players. Cesc, Costa, and Matic's have all dipped dramatically. This is not Jose's fault. City bought Sterling and Kdb this past transfer window be bought Papay, Hector and Rahman. We have money to spend, but refuse to. Absolutely ridiculous. Jose is gone, I accept that, but this was not all his fault just as the title was not ALL because of him.

Would also seperate the team from money.

I agree. But those two guys will likely have City and United, possible CL clubs, as destinations. Not us. Okay then, fuck Jose.

What incentive (besides money) would Simeone or Pep have to come to a non CL team with a strict owner? I think those are the only two managers that he would look at. We've been slow starts and had a negative approach long before Jose's second tenure. We're known as bus parkers. I do think this will come back to bite us. Jose will go to United and win them a league title or two. Those tactics are the same tactics that won us the league running away last season. I think the players are more at fault than Jose. They didn't enjoy playing for him anymore, and for me, that's a problem.

I think the players are more to blame than Jose. It's 50/50 for me.

I'm not surprised. It was coming. But I'm saddened by it still. This won't solve anything and if the players start playing well then they're cunts and i want them gone. He's one of us. He was not solely to blame and he was not the main problem. He's still the best manager and the world and this is gonna come back to bite us in the ass.
