Winning 1-0 but my god has our game been sloppy!

Another year, another demolition of Sp*rs at the Bridge! Double, Double, Double .. and all that! LOVE IT! :blue scalf:

I was horrified to see us defending for our lives at the end of the game, particularly when Altidore almost bulldozed his way past our defence.. that after we completely ran out of ideas at the other end. Time to pick ourselves up against T*ttenham next week.

So many times we've tried that away from home, so many times we've failed and have been punished! I hope this is not a repeat!

Both red cards were fully deserved. Azpi's challenge was disgusting! 1-0 lead at half time is great, Oscar free kick was something special, but need to be wary of Palace in the 2nd half. At the end of that 45 minutes they tried to kick us around and frustrate us. We need to just keep cool and play our game!

Hmm.. what is it about our goalkeepers and head injuries??

I'm happy we're winning at half time, but by no means will this be another 6-0 ... Arsenal look worryingly solid at times. Much as certain people don't understand their tactical approach to this game, they've caught our defence out a few times. Something to seriously think about. Also Schurrle has been terrible! Willian on in the 2nd half please!

Fair point, at the end of the day, Lampard is there to do a job.. it was our defenders' fault for not picking up his run. The fact that some fans on here are calling him 'Judas' is more hurtful than the goal itself.

All we do against the big clubs is defend unfortunately Shon3x... one positive we can take from this, is that so early in the season, we have got this tough fixture out of the way and we haven't lost. City is a tough place to go, even when your team is able to attack.

+ 1 Life goes on people, Lampard is still a Chelsea legend.. players come on the pitch to do their job, just like any other player who runs onto the pitch. Gudjohnsen scored for Barcelona against us, he is still a Chelsea legend! Hasselbaink scored for Charlton against us at the Bridge some few years ago... still a Chelsea legend! We're not like Arsenal fans.. we don't blast abuse at our legends because they move on, all we ever show is respect! Some of you feel like you're going down to their level, and that makes me feel even more sick than I am now! I'm just glad Lampard only scored an equaliser.. and not a winning goal.

I think you would agree that it annoys me more, that they've scored goals in the 90th minute in BOTH of their opening games when it looked like they were dropping points.. ..Arsenal just have this "luck" that no other team has.. not even United have it. It's like, if they're even as heavy as 3-0 down, you just know they're going to claw their way back!
