This is the typical.. "we're much bigger than the opposition... so let's grind out a win but at the same time, let the opposition play like they look good" approach, which has always been slow and sluggish, which was what that 1st half is all about! The good thing, is that normally we pick it up after the break.. Seriously, watching Chelsea is like having a permanent migrane!!
-
Well I can only hope Drogba can still cut the mustard, even though he's been lacking game time this season..
-
Remy is injured?? Marvellous!
-
Terry will get booed but who the fuck cares, this is a must-win game! With United and Arsenal after this one, there's just no excuse for a fuck-up!
-
This match is only going one way, and it's only 15 minutes old.. Arsenal just can't be stopped at the moment. If we fuck up, they might even be capable of snatching the title off us! We just HAVE to keep winning. If we do that, I don't give a fuck what the other teams do! Of all the teams in the BPL, I'd find it insanely hard to digest Arsenal winning the league at the expense of us slipping up at the last hurdle... ...I don't even want to think about it!
-
He just isn't good enough I'm afraid.. I'm not sure if that's either a seasonal thing, or if his overall form has just dropped over the course of this season.. but if I was Mourinho, I'd cash in on him for at least £40m in the summer. Only a club like PSG could afford a fee such as that. It would count as a profitable move for us, and I reckon we could use the money to bring in someone like Paul Pogba.

Yup, I only realised it before editing my post!

7 points clear of Arsenal (for now), game in hand still in our favour, title still ours to lose... United and Arsenal in next two games... no pressure then? EDIT: Sorry it's QPR away before United and Arsenal
-
Last three games now, we've scored first and failed to keep a lead at half time! This is getting disgraceful now! And conceding from the half way line?? Fucking embarrassing!! .. Honestly, Stoke have done nothing this entire game, and they pick that out, from out of nowhere!
-
If there's any hope of Arsenal dropping points, Liverpool need to pretend they're in Istanbul right now!
-
That's probably the only good thing to come out of this afternoon, is that Liverpool are getting a pasting, and I'm loving that!
-
I really hope it's us that ends their streak and it sends them back down to earth! ... and Drogba scores the winner!
-
3-0 it gets worse people!
-
The Arsenal fly is flying around my head like a PEST!!
-
Probably a small rumor that will die down eventually.. Much as I'd love to see someone like Sterling playing for us, Liverpool are not stupid.. they wouldn't sell directly to a rival club.
-
Alright, so Messi would play in a position that won't hinder his progress.. but you can't not notice the progress Bamford is making at Middlesbrough.. he's probably one of the sole reasons why they've been doing so well in the Championship, and before you think that isn't enough, his goal helped knock out Man City in the FA Cup! All I'm saying, for the good of our home-grown status (and for extra security, FFP), I say give the guy a chance next season and see what he can do. Costa and Remy won't be sold, is what you're implying, and you're right.. but one of these days, UEFA and FIFA are going to come down even harder on clubs for their lack of home-grown players, and it could affect us for future competitions in Europe if we don't turn our attention to it. Man City, as they'll discover soon enough will be in exactly the same boat.
-
You honestly think that because I said what I said, I think that those three players are better than Messi... I never said that!! WHY WOULD I SAY THAT? What I meant was, I'm cautious at the fact that if we gamble a lot of money on Messi, he might not be as lethal in the Prem as he is in La Liga. Both competitions are completely different. The Premier League is a lot tougher in every department, whatever kind of player you are. Would I like to see us sign Messi?? Of course I would... but no deal comes without its cautions. And as for Bamford, please don't slate me for caring so much about the England National Football Team. I care for its future as well as Chelsea's. All I'd like to see is a bit more English talent in our team than what we currently have. You might think I'm talking out of my complete arse, but all I'm doing is being cautious that's all!
-
I can imagine how old you'll be come the end of this season!

Revert to what Alex said before... ...I'd rather see us win ugly than play fancy football. This demonstrates it.. it's an ugly win, but 3 points is 3 points! Still 6 points clear!
-
No, the new Liverpool! It was them who bottled the title last year, we seem to be emulating that at the minute!
-
Shoot me in the nuts head on, but if we didn't sell David Luiz to PSG this wouldn't be happening... one has to admit.
-
Absolutely fucking shocking!! You CANNOT excuse bad defending such as that!! How do we go from 2-0 and cruising to all 3 points.... to barely struggling to stay level at half time! Hull absolutely skinned us alive going into the end of that first half! I hope Jose skins them alive even more in the dressing room! Absolutely fucking pathetic!!!
-
The more I see the top 5, the more I want this match to start now because once we've won, it'll make it look less of an eyesore! Three points today please!! COME ON!!
-
United, City and Arsenal all win.. ..beating Hull is essential now!
