    • Um, I could not disagree more. Chilwell is finished man. His physical qualities are totally gone, and he has no technical skill on the ball. He's an extraordinarily limited player who had his day in the right system (when he was young and had more pace). Basically plays a dead style of football and doesn't even do it well anymore. The good thing about Chilwell is that he's a nice guy that doesn't cause troubles. That is his quality. He has no others.
    • Any news if this guy is being sold or loaned? Literally if he does, and even if you do nothing else, I will give the window a minimum of 9/10.
    • Just had a look and it is apprantly more like £250k'ish - only clubs that can/will pay that sort of money (along with the £60m fee) at the moment are: City and Madrid (do not need him and perfer to take frees then pay crazy wages.) That alone is why no-one challenged City even if they were in serious need of a CF. Let alone us who now have a clear structure which is one of the ain positives of the new ownership imo.
    • Okay, tbf I’ve just watched a YouTube comp of this midfielder we’re linked with and he does look like a proper, highly technical baller. Pretty impressed with what I’m seeing on the ball.  However, he looks like he’s about 4ft tall. Know who he reminds me of almost exactly in terms of dribbling and ball carrying? Bernardo Silva.
    • Separate budgets 🤪
    • Rather keep what we have this window instead of buying more unnecessary players, maybe they wisen up by the summer but I doubt.
    • I'm still wondering how no other side challenged City for his signature. He was on around £32k at Frankfurt. If we were serious, that wouldn't have been a stumbling block. City offering him a crazy wage increase of almost 9 times that is its own thing.
    • Sigh - our lone January signing it looks like will be a replacement for Cesare Casadei : when we have Ugo and Santos anyway
    • So we aren’t willing to pay a loan fee for PL proven Douglas Luiz but we’ll buy some random dude from a tiny Italian team nod]body has ever heard of? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Just recall someone already on our books at that point, ffs.
    • Same old shit
    • Replacing unknown with unknown.
    • Calling him a cunt based on a celebration. Wow. Yes he can come across a bit arrogant and can be frustrating, however do I see improvements to his game since he joined us? Yes. He has 6 goals and 3 assists in the league. Needs to be more productive in final third, but he definitely is a useful outlet to have.  His direct dribbling and running is a bonus and causes opposition panic. People may argue Neto’s best position is from the right, however he also needs to improve in final third. Madu
