Regardless of the opinion on Felix, the lack of options up front especially given the unavailability of Mudryk exposes us badly. If either one of Sancho or Neto gets injured, team will be in dire straits. Felix was let go without getting a replacement.

We are seen as a business, first & foremost. Those making the decisions where transfers are concerned haven't got an actual plan in mind. The entire direction we have been going on & off the field since the acquisition is extremely worrying. Maresca wasn't keen on him, & rightfully so. Blame Maresca genius team management, Veiga and Felix wanted to get away as soon a possible, Nkunku as well but didn't get the move and now can't be arsed when playing.

What bothers me is that we spent money on Felix and then 6 months later he's keen to jump ship and run off to another club and we actually allow it to happen. That just sends the wrong message to any player we buy in the future.

I wouldn't have cared if the Gallagher/Felix deal didn't happen. What bothers me is that it happened and we ended up getting the short end of the stick.
