Aw shit. Do not like this one bit. Jose as his mentor for a long long time while implementing his own take own progressive modern take on football. This might actually work for Liverpool in a sense if they don't over-burden themselves with lofty expectations of top 4 in a year.

Remember seeing Brendon Rodgers on Goals on Sunday not too long ago. Comes across as very likeable, articulate and knowledgeable of the game. Had the best things to say about Chelsea and what stuck with me was when he mentioned Frank Lampard Sr. drops in often at Cobhalm to engage/talk about the game with the youth players along with Lamps. Also dispelled the reports that he thought taking a manager's job at Chelsea was disruptive for his career by saying he was misquoted and had only the highest regard for the club.

I'd wish him well, always. Hate that he's off to Liverpool, ugh.

That has so much potential! It really is scary.

Could be a success or ultimately a disaster like the Dalglish-Clarke combo.

Hopefully a diaster! But seeing how well he done with Swansea..not looking forward to them next season

Swansea & Liverpool are totally different kettle of fish, I think. lol Expectation levels will be higher at the latter and it will all come down to what he does in the transfer window really.

Kenny was crap at signings..think they should've kept him just for that!

Be very dissapointing if they do well next season..even more so if they end up with a top 4 finish!

Let's face it, they'll probably be up there again at some point in the future. As of now though, we thought they might challenge for the Top 4 and finish in there under Dalglish this past season but look what happened. All depends on what players they get. IF Rodgers purchases all the average English talents like Dalglish did, then expect another finish outside the Top 4.

Clarke left Liverpool, no?

Liverpool rejected his resignation.

Need more great amazing buys like Downing..

For starters, Rodgers might bring Sigurdsson to Liverpool instead and then maybe Sinclair too, who has previously been linked with them.

Lambert has walked out on Norwich City for not being allowed to talk to Aston Villa over their managerial vacancy.

What an absolute dickhead.

Gets his team promoted, plays good football all season and upsets some odds along the way, then goes and disrupts the team by upsetting Grant Holt and now wants to leave his team who finished mannnyyy places above Aston Villa, for Villa.

I feel better for Liverpool's fuck up future than when Dalglish was there.

You would have thought they would have learned from the Roy situation, clearly not.

Well atleast Sigurdsson won't be following him.

He might. Yet to undergo a medical and sign the contract at Swansea.

Does Brandan Rodgers really know how to sign a big player though? I mean i can't see Liverpool going anywhere under Rodgers. Swansea played good football with average players that doesn't mean Liverpool will do the same and he wasn't exactly playing the greatest stuff with Reading or Watford. I like Rodgers for what he did with our youth but going to Liverpool... meh hope he makes em worse if that's indeed possible. Swansea are a good team but i wouldn't want anyone from there so let him take some to Liverpool.

Not worried about Rodgers joining them, they won't be title challengers & won't be able to compete with the likes of us, city & united.
