^ Nice one mate. I've also been playing the alpha. What do you think of it? Loving it myself, can't wait for it to drop.

Edit: Oh, and that rig of yours on the previous page. My my, what's in that bad boy?

I love it . There's loads of people complaining about the damage model that bullets do too much damage ... but imo bullets would kill you instantly in reality not tickle you so you can run off .

Looking like its 'work from home' tomorrow, after an early trip to tesco to pick up BF3 and a bag on croissants.

Bought the game today, and I've completed the campaign already... I won't say a thing about it, but the only thing I will say however, is that I thought it was rather short... apart from that... the gameplay, and graphics are fucking amazing!

It's okay! I wouldn't say it's great though, it isn't like CoD where you run around owning everyone! It's more based on teamwork and driving vehicles... plus the maps are pretty big, which is going to take some used to as far as I'm concerned seeing as I'm a CoD player, but I had to get a battlefield game because I've never owned one on a console (yeah I know, I'm daft)

I do enjoy teamwork based games, that's the kind of games I play on COD. However on COD you get the idiots that are only interested in killing than actually playing the objective of the game. Thats why I rarely play deathmatches. You don't need much skill for the game modes on COD though. I might look into buying it.

Dissapointed? WTF? Bad Company 2 was...Meh. BF3 is the best FPS on the market, hands down. I will forever love this game for putting an end to the reign of that shit known as COD. Great game, which I'm good at :)

Got this a while back but have only ventured into online multiplayer - albeit briefly - so could anyone tell me what the campaign mode's like? I know the franchise isn't particularly renowned for its campaign, but I've heard nothing but good things about this game so was wondering whether it's worth playing through the campaign? Bare in mind I do have a lot of games to occupy me currently so I'm not desperate (so to speak) to play through it if it's not that good.

Oh, that plus the fact that I'm still coming to grips with the buttons as I'm a self-confessed CoD player (I know, I'm sorry!)...

The campaign isn't much better than COD's. It's only about 5-6 hours so it's up to you whether you want to play it. The 'Story' itself isn't great but the missions can be for sure. Great moments in the campaign. I think it's worth it as it showcases the brilliant graphics, gunplay and vehicles. It'll also help you get used to the gunplay which will be Important for the Multiplayer.

Now the Multiplayer is where it is at. This is where BF DESTROYS COD. Brilliant Multiplayer. You can go lone wolf (to an extent) or play more as a Squad. The roles are pretty diverse and strategic. The Vehicles are much more common in the Multiplayer. It is Highly addictive. I've put close to 70 hours into the Multiplayer and that will only increase. No FPS can beat BF's online Multiplayer.
