The Pub - Discuss Anything

Started by Manuf,

No, I've been to Florida though. Scary shit driving on the highway with psychopathic drivers and random torrential rainfall.

Mk is sort of the same minus the rain lol.psychopathic drivers on roundabouts

Roundabouts in America are frightening. Nobody is taught how to use them here so on the very rare occasion you find one, it is a nightmare.

LMAO at Americans whining about traffic and how people drive! You really haven't seen anything.

In terms of traffic, Cairo is probably the worst in the world as Rapha said above. You should also try driving in Lebanon where you can get a driving license without even taking a test. A journo once got a driving license for a blind person to highlight how dangerous corrupt the system is. Still didn't change anything :D

I think there are more roundabouts per square mile in MK than any major town/city in Europe, though I can't find the source which proves that. I remember it once being described as the "Mecca of roundabouts". There are 300 roundabouts in Milton Keynes, which is effectively one roundabout per 600 people, and one roundabout every 296 square metres.

Swindon has the best roundabout in the world, though:

It means you can effectively go around the roundabout the wrong way. Epic.

WTH! How does that even work? Does the one in the middle go in the opposite direction to the others? Who the hell approved that!
