I am a die-hard fan of laziness! (I did lose 4kg by entering the tennis and football team and some more by running on the beach in this summer though: 75kg to 68kg now)

But it's true. People may conceal it, but there's some serious prejudice against gay people. I think most catholic countries have. At least it's not very likely for gays to be attacked on the streets, but even that has happened before.

That is very true, I think it has gotten really deep in our culture. I cant tell how many gay jokes my friends used to tell one another. This grows unexpectedly...

I also think there are some places "safe" for gay people (defnetly not Sao Paulo, lol). But Rio is very open about it. At least the two times I have been there I saw homo couples normally walking on the beach, something unthinkable in SP.
