Yep in this climate he is not going anywhere. Still not sure we will go for him next summer.

How much he would cost with one year left on contract? If Puli establish himself next season as starting LW and Ziyech plays better as AM than maybe we go for him...

Would be pretty funny if United don't get Sancho at this point when they have essentially zero competition for his signature this summer. Their fans may hurt themselves because they have all just assumed it was a formality for months.

If he stays at Dortmund for another year there will be loads of clubs after him (maybe even ourselves) and United won't have a free run at him again.

Spending £100m+ on a single player right now whose name isn't M'bappe or Neymar is ridiculous, though, so can't blame United if this report is accurate. Although they did just spend £80m on Maguire so I'm not sure I believe they won't pony up in this case.

You know what?

If Sane with one year left on contract costs around 50m I think Sancho in the same situation next summer should not be much more?

This season aside since Sane was injured they have very similar stats. Sancho in Dortmund and Sane in City.

Sane was injured and was not a starter before his injury. Sancho will cost Hazard money at least

he is one of just a handful actually worth over £100m (NON COVID pricing) atm

could be down to 10 by summer of 2022, as Varane drops off  next year, Oblak the year after that ,and Felix may fall off due to play, plus assuming no new ones pop onto it by then (Lautaro or Werner or Richarlison or De Ligt would be the most likely to do so atm)

Kylian Mbappé
Raheem Sterling
Jadon Sancho
Jan Oblak    (2nd to last season on the list)
Erling Håland
Frenkie de Jong
Saúl Ñíguez
Alphonso Davies
Trent Alexander-Arnold
João Félix
Joshua Kimmich
Kai Havertz
Raphaël Varane (last season on the list)

these would still, if no COVID, pull over £100m, but I would not pay it due to age (plus Kane, not a chance I would pay £100+m for him)

Neymar   (last season on the list)
Sadio Mané    (last season on the list)
Mohamed Salah    (last season on the list)
Kevin De Bruyne   (last season on the list)
Lionel Messi    (last season on the list)
Virgil van Dijk    (last season on the list)
Paul Pogba (last season on the list)
Harry Kane   (2nd to last season on the list)

Can't see your reasoning.

We wanted close to 200m for Hazard summer before.

When players have one year left on contract their price is usually 50% cheaper.

Courtois left us for 30-35m after great World Cup. If he had more on contract he would cost around 70m surely.

Sane was quoted 100m one year ago.

You think players have the same price with 2,3,4 and 1 year left on contract?

Dortmund wants 100-120m for him now. So next summer it will be 60-70m max by this logic no doubt.

Didn't score this season in Bundesliga.

11 games. 900 minutes played.

I am almost certain CHO will be better soon.

and all his 3 non league goals and 3 non league assists were against shite teams, including a 3rd tier MSV Duisburg (and they are only 1 point above BOTTOM of Bundesliga 3 table as well, so likely going down to 4th tier, and also have the worst defence in the division as well)

all season long, against any sort of remotely quality team, he has one lone assist, and that was against Gladbach, the first league game of the year, 3 month ago

he is off to a horrid start so far, and DID have Håland for most of it, so no excuse there

also, all this is in a really high scoring league as well, this is not 91/92 Serie A, where the top 3 teams COMBINED (granted a 34 game season) gave up only 63 total goals TOTAL (AC Milan, who went undefeated, Juve and Torino)

That AC Milan side, just insane the players they had

100% Italian, except for the 3 Dutch global superstars

Fabio Capello's first year as the manager

how would you like to have this for a GK and back 4, lolol

GK    Italy    Sebastiano Rossi
RB    Italy    Mauro Tassotti
CB    Italy    Alessandro Costacurta
CB    Italy    Franco Baresi
LB    Italy    Paolo Maldini

100 major trophies combined for those 5, including multiple CL/European cups (5), UEFA Super Cups (5) multiple world championships (both Intercontinental Cups (2)and FIFA WCC (1) ), 5 Supercoppa's,1 Coppa Italia tile (that is crazy they only won one) 7 Serie A tiles, and a World Cup (would have been 2, but Maldini was slightly injured in 2006 and refused to come out of retirement at an international level, which he said is his only single regret in football) The only thing at least one of the 5 failed to do was win the Euro championship (Italy has amazingly only won it once, in 1968) Maldini did lose the 2000 final to France, the Trezeguet Golden Goal. All of them except Rossi were also WC runners up, they lost on pens to Brazil in the 1994 final.
