It’s amazing how we will still finish this day 4th despite having lost 5 in 7 and 7 overall already. The league has really become poor.

Good transfer window can make us finish top4 thanks to all other fallen rivals.

19 games, exactly half season and we have 32 points. That's 64 in the end. I don't think any team ever finish top4 with that low.

Are you really using lower league achievements as a benchmark? If Howe comes here and does badly, then what stick are you gonna beat him up with? He's only coached small teams?! If we're using lower league achievements as a qualification, then should we go after Neil Warnock, who has won several promotions in his career?

Am really bemused by much people overrate Eddie Howe. Sure, he's done well in bringing Bournemouth through the leagues and consolidating their place in the Premier League but that aside, he's been bang average in this division. His Bournemouth side are OK at everything but not great at something. He's spent more than 100 million in four seasons in the Premier League and has only finished in the Top 10 once and never crossed the 50-point mark. Even Sean Dyche's Burnley managed to finish 7th once and qualify for Europe! You said Howe is an attacking coach - which by the way is hardly eye catching (45, 55, 45, 56 goals) - but have you seen his defensive record? Bournemouth conceded at least 60 goals in each of their first four Premier League seasons and ended up in the bottom four for worst defence in each of those seasons. We're already complaining about our poor defensive play every game and here you are suggesting a manager who doesn't seem to know how to coach a defence?

if we hire Howe i am throwing myself out a window

Probably a mixture between the small Teams getting better due to the fact that they can spend big and the big Teams getting weaker

The epl is piss poor, one look at the table and its evident. Yes smaller sides have become better thanks to cash etc and better managers coming in. But at the same time look how many heavy weights have fallen ill. UTD ARS and us are not even a shadow of our past.

We have a rookie as manager, we have a piss poor squad lets be honest, and the board is just beyond noobs, thats a sure recipe for average-ness.

Lucky lucky so far. Everyone as bad as each other.

Though gaps not as comfy as it was..Spurs 3 behind and Man U 4 so give it a few weeks and carry on our way and we wont be

This formation with the three CBs is useful against the good teams but IMO too little of a threat against the others. We use two full-backs as wing-backs and neither of them is good attacking wise. Kante and Jorginho are not creative types,CHO is suspect at best and also overhyped,Willian can be a world beater but most of the time offers little to nothing and Tammy is not consistent.

The 6-games unbeaten run was IMO mostly thanks to the Jorgi-Kova combo. The moment Kante recovered from injury and made it back to the starting 11,it all went downhill.

Lampard has a lot to learn - one of the things being that a formation can work wonders against a particular team but not against the other ones.We failed to beat Valencia with the three CBs,we were not that convicing away to Lille with the same formation and today is another example that we are toothless against lesser teams using this formation.
