The slowdown for Bakayoko (due to excessive request from Chelsea on the redemption), leads Milan to look at different alternatives (Soumare and Florentino).

those MOTHERFUCKERS were going to take that OPTION to buy and FUCK us next summer, refuse to redeem and try and pay £10m max

I hate Italian club ownership and boards more than any others in football

criminal scammers, gameplayers, and mafia wannabes

all are connected to Italy misery

Tiemoué Bakayoko  ( the selling, not the buying)
Emerson
Davide Zappacosta
Jorginho
Victor Moses  ( the selling, not the buying)

Alonso ( the selling, not the buying)

plus we got screwed to a point on Mario Pašalić and then stupidly did not exercise Boga's cheap buy-back

Pretty sure Football London only report what other papers are saying rather than having their own inside sources.

Haven't seen any of the reliable Chelsea sources say that Lampard, the club etc want Kante off. Not even Romano himself has reported anything on this.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.football.london/chelsea-fc/transfer-news/chelsea-transfer-rumours-ngolo-kante-18884749.amp

Ian mcgarry is their source here. There have been a decent amount of rumors floating about for us to off handedly say that there is nothing here at all.

Also, romano is a solid reporter, but also pretty much a tap in merchant. You won't have him reporting Mendy to Chelsea a month ago itself when transfer rumors were floating about Cech liking and recommending Mendy. I say this with all due respect to romano, he reports transfers a week or so before, but no way is he a source or no way can he be sited as an example to know what the club and the board want

rumors of kante going were from shitty italian sources to begin with, and I believe the only club rumored was inter, recently their sporting director said they’re not going for him at all:

“Ausilio also added that another midfielder linked with Inter, Chelsea's N'Golo Kante, would not be arriving at San Siro.

“We’ve never started anything to sign Kante from Chelsea. No chance. He’s not a target," Ausilio said. “

All the reliable sources are saying no chance for any deal (Matt Law etc) while all the horrible sources (Pedulla etc) are saying it’s happening... Pretty obvious to me it won’t happen...

Even new Football channel Telefoot in France whose journalists have connections to people close to Kante say this:

Sensible move did Zouma no harm and Ancelloti knows how to organise his defence. Good for him 👏

But he barely rotates and definitely does not rotate his defence. Tomori would hardly get minutes ahead of mina, Keane and holgate. He could have been a 4th choice CB here itself.

Bad move, Everton are good and have good defenders.

This will be like Ampadu to Leipzig.

Bad move.

Bad move.

It will be him and Keane as a pairing. Don't actually think Ancelotti or Everton fans rate Mina

So Telefoot becomes a good source? You can believe what you want, I still stand by what I said in the final convo with Jason.

If we get rice and still have kante, what formation? How does kante fit it? Will we change our whole pressing game by going to a 4-2-3-1 to play to a World class kante's strengths, or will we put a square peg in a round hole by playing him in an advanced position and worsening our overall play.

Should of just sold Zouma and let Tomori compete with Rudiger to play with and also learn off of Thiago Silva who I think is going to definitely start this season. I mean he was very good in the CL run and shackled Lewandowski pretty expertly if you ask me in the final.

Baffling decision if I am honest. You sign a 36 year old CB whos won everything more or less in several leagues, captained his national team and then loan out one of your two young CBs who could learn a shit tonne of invaluable things off him from playing with him and training with him. A season after playing him sort of regularly with no PL experience. Hmm.

Okay may seem harsh on Zouma, obviously he is decent enough but he probably isn't going to elevate his game much much higher in the same way Ross Barkley isnt going to even if we signed the likes of a Zidane or someone in that position. Their at ages now where theyve more or less sort of shown what sort of players they are going to be.

Obviously Frank has his preferences, as we know he likes Ross, he likes Zouma which may have accounted for it but still questionable. Plus the games Tomori played last season I would say he was likely to he ahead of Christensen in the pecking order too. I suppose if we were weeks into the season and he didnt play its also a fair idea but we wont know, I can see him going to Everton and having a good season, where people will probably question why did we loan him out if we end up with a shite GA again.

Also whats changed after last season? We should of just loaned him out last season if Frank felt he needed a move to play more PL games. He will be better off having played in the PL for 1 season so a loan move now strikes me as very odd.

Christensen has the potential to be world-class.

Bit unrealistic. He had a really good 3 or 4 months under Antonio before flakering away after the Barca game.

Tbf, Hes put some really solid matches in since over the last 2 seasons with Sarri and Frank but again hasnt been too consistent and the defence which hes been part of has been poor.

I dont see where this could be world class thing comes from. Its the same as when he was in the academy people were spouting it.

Could be world class and being world class are 2 totally different statements. Would much rather people say he is world class because that means he is doing it. As opposed to he could be, which means he isnt doing it or done it yet. I understand you need to be patient with players but you either are world class or your not. He has the potential to be a very good player but he isnt yet. He is a pretty decent player but is still flawed and still can grow.

If he wasn’t mentally weak he could have been good

Yeah but I rather send Chris on loan than Tomori, Chris is just average and doesnt look like getting better. His best was under Conte.
