We have a big fucking issue in striker department.....have had since Costa. Man I would kill for Piatek right about now.

We will be so good once we play with dynamic fullbacks or even just one. I felt that last season but that feeling is even more prominent now as Lampard is really using the fullbacks overlaping as a key go to plan going forward.

Not bad...slow start but decent enough. We press much better even now than under Sarii imo.

fucking Alonso

truly wtf

sigh

We have some utter tosh atm, If we see the likes of Willy Alonso Baka Drinky Giroud etc in 2020-2021 season then its utter negligent behaviour.

Kenedy is the weirdest player. He's clearly very skilled and tricky but he's so awkward. Looks like he's going to fall over every time he gets the ball.

I thought Alonso was his usual poor self and thought Bakayoko grew a bit as the half went on.

Not sure I like where Pulisic has been playing. He's basically been a second striker. We need him to play wide and use his pace and skill to beat defenders. Basically what CHO does. Having him play in the congested middle of the box negates his abilities.

Pulisic really is a tidy player. Great touch and intelligence on the ball. Fantastic dribbler. End product is the only real concern.

Off the ball, our press is the only real highlight of the performance. On the ball, still very poor, which is mainly down to personal. Relied on individual brilliance for the goals.

Pretty good from the mostly B team.

Drinkwater did alright tbh and will be ok as one of the back up DM's.

Bakayoko was shocking, at fault for the goal very sloppy etc.

Tomori defensively made some errors which could have been punished.

But not too bad. Be good to see a stronger second half team and how they do

We really do move the ball much much faster now, much more direct.....so good to see, so much more entertaining than last season.

Barkley clearly the best player on the pitch

AC looked solid

Pulisic showed flashes

Kenedy was active, no complaints (and scored that deflected goal)

Tomori looked shaky a few times, came on better after their goal

Giroud was poor

Zappacosta passing was shit

Drinkwater was his normal meh

Alonso is like having a spectator wander onto the pitch

Bakayoko somehow makes Alonso look good

That was a fecking circus out there for 95% of the time. Ross was about the only person that showed he belongs.

Bakayoko showing he can deliver a long pass.....to Reading or to nobody.

Pulisic better start showing something. That was a big fat meh half for him.

Pulisic, for whatever reason is better on the right IMHO

I have seen him play for years now, he seems far more creative on the right side, but Lamps was really looking at Kenedy there as we may need to keep him for a 4th winger until CHO recovers (NOT sure on that)
