Just when I thought Sarri had started to come to his sense, he fields that XI. Alonso and Pedro shouldn't be anywhere near the starting XI

I guess this was expected, Alonso starting after Emerson playing 2 games in 4 days. However, this is Azpi's 4th full game in 9 days, surely he needs a rest at some point?

Sarri praised Emerson yesterday and said how he must use him ahead of Alonso given the recent form but he has selected the latter vs Spurs...

Caballero has conceded 7 goals in his last 2 games against Spurs (L 1-4 in 2015, L 1-3 in 2018). Just saying...

This could get ugly if Luiz and Alonso decide to have a walkabout as they're known to do.

Kepa is being punished but we are also punishing ourselves with Willy on goal.

I guess Emerson is also punished by Sarri because he had a good game?

If we win this, it will be close to miracle.

This line up looks like it could get brutally and ruthlessly exposed and Spurs are more than capable of doing so.

It appeared Sarri had learnt previous lessons at the weekend but maybe that was desperation to win a trophy.

I admire his stand in dropping kepa but this game is absolute must win and I'm not looking forward to this, especially if we start poor.

Time for Sarri to live and possibly die by his sword.

Kepa not starting is fine to me even if it will hurt on the pitch.

But Pedro and especially Alonso starting again is just awful.

Eughhhh even I'm struggling to defend this.

Thought his tactics were great at weekend. This is just crazy though

I'm in Lleida watching Barca vs Madrid

Emerson is doing very well so i have to use him, and Kepa was just a misunderstanding, nothing in it.

Starting to think he is a jackanory lol
