Does anyone take them seriously considering they’ve done f*** all in Europe? I find it hard comparing them to the greatest PL sides, don’t think they’re in the conversation to be honest.

Jorhinho didnt really have much impact on todays game. It was the rcm and lcm who had to play well in order for us to progress.

Jorginho is so figured out. NO idea why the Serie A could not do it in years but the prem really has sussed his game within 4 months. Needs to adapt be a bit more variable with his positioning and passing range. I know he has it in him cos he is fast in his mind and has decent technical ability but he has to step it up a notch

Hard to when we decided to play on the defensive today and besides, going for more direct passing was more effective than short passing.

Excellent performance from every player..We needed that reaction after those 2 losses...Onwards and upwards..We need to play every game with this focus and determination..

While Jorginho is key to Sarri's system, he had players at Napoli to still make things work in that midfield when Jorginho is being marked (besides, he can't be playing at 100% every game anyway). We don't here.

Why the fuck did we have to lose to Wolves… :(

Alonso, Giroud, Morata, Cesc, plus Willian was shit (he was today too) and so was Hazard (not so much today). AC was weak too.

We done it!!!!!!!! What a performance. Every player was brilliant. All the slating of our players such as Alonso and Luiz before the game from pundits and our own fans alike for the likes of Luiz and Alonso and both of them were top class. Sterling had that one moment where he went past Alonso with ease but apart from that he was very good. Luiz the MOTM for me. Was top class. Was pivotal in both goals and defensively was different class. Won everything in the air and read everything throughout the game. Luiz and Alonso can't play in a back 4? They were top class against the best team currently in Europe. Azpi, fantastic. Hazard with the 2 assists put in an excellent shift too and happy Kepa recovered from that Wolves game and looked really solid. We had a point to prove and game back with a bang. I fully expected us to be in 5th place come this evening but the boys played brilliant and kept a clean sheet and showed Man City are not unbeatable.

KTBFFH !

Alonso was SHIT, dont get out over your skis

Zielinski and Allen are hardly better than our midfielders. I think it is of course due to the players around, the fullbacks not being an offensive outlet, not comfortable on the ball enough but also in the Serie A the DLP is hardly pressed as high as today. Jorginho has to evolve his game.

To highlight the madness in this place.

Page 3 - We are shit, Alonso is a CUNT, Sarri is a joke

Page 16 - Winning 2-0

But you could argue that they worked as a unit in Sarri's system. Right now, our system still has holes and because we have very few dangerous players going forward, teams can afford to man-mark Jorginho, Hazard etc while almost leaving others free because they know they won't cause problems. Do agree that Jorginho needs to improve though and also worth remembering that this is his first season in English football.

Alonso is still a cunt, after our strikers he is our worst starter, he needs to GO

we really need to buy Lucas Hernandez (and he also plays a great CB, so 2 birds one stone) or, if we wont drop 80m or so, then grab Junior Firpo, WE NEED a WC LB and need to get 50m for Alonso whilst the world is fooled

and as long as Luiz doesnt go mental, I am fine with him atm.

Willian was blaääää as usual, but at least played defence

Buzzing from the win! Luiz was immense. Even Rudiger was a rock. What I loved was that the defense never panicked in the face of that City pressing. Even towards the end of the first half the team was trying to calmly play its way out of the back instead of hitting it long.

The team totally shut City down in the second half.
