I am extremely excited for this game. They are an extremely talented squad top to bottom and should have a bunch of their key players available. I expect some of this positivity will boomerang back to negativity if things dont go well. I think we start with the same lineup except Emerson for Alonso and either Pasalic or Bakayoko for Cesc.

Lets nor expect to much too soon, we know it's gonna take time, this is about the Boss getting his ideas across and getting the players to buy into it.

But after the Perth game so far so good.

The International Champions Cup. Will face Arsenal and Lyon after this, with the Community Shield thrown into the mix.

Pretty tough set of opponents for this preseason. Which is probably good for preparation under a new manager. Sure hope we have another signing or two in before we play the Gooners. Preseason or not I wanna smack em. 😂

They are not scheduled to report for training until August 5 or 6, less than a week before the start of the start of PL

When are the big guns back?

All those involved in the World Cup were given three weeks off from the day after their nation was knocked out. Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante, Olivier Giroud, Gary Cahill, Michy Batshuayi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Courtois will not be back until August 5-6.

Absolutely insane to see Piazon still on our books. Feels like he's been here since about 2005.

Fulham don't seem interested in signing him too it looks like it's another loan deal for him
