It’s fair to say it’s been a stop-start 12 months for Callum Hudson-Odoi. After a breakthrough 2018/19 campaign in which he played 24 times for Chelsea and made his England debut, the young forward’s progress was stopped sharply in its tracks when he sustained an Achilles injury in a Premier League encounter with Burnley.

That was exactly a year ago this week and a range of factors have prevented him from building momentum ever since. The teenager put the hard graft in over the summer months, returning ahead of schedule in September with a goal in our 7-1 thrashing of Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup. Five days previously, he put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.

Why? There is zero evidence you get it again (millions of cases, zero 100% confirmed re-infections) and you do not carry it after infection. To expect people who have already been exposed and have had the disease already to stay locked-down isolated is madness.

Also, to demand all do so (lock down isolation) whilst waiting for a vaccine is beyond madness. A vaccine may never come, or may not come for years. Trump saying it will be here right after New Years is massive fucking lie designed to get his fascist arse re-elected.

The fastest one in history took 4 years (mumps vax). There has never been a successful coronoviral vaccine, and they have been trying for 20 plus years on diffrent types of coronaviruses.

I would think the main issue here is not that he had someone over during this outbreak, but that he was ARRESTED at 4am after that person called an ambulance.

Fuck knows what happened or what he was thinking tbf inviting someone over to his home in this lockdown period in the first place. Or is England different to Scotland? I know there were rumors about them lifting certain restrictions for things but surely going over someones house to get a shag wasnt one 😂 

There is a reason why people think footballers are thick, maybe its because they are? I mean thats Callum, Mason, Grealish and Kyle Walker that have all been in the paper since lockdown for breaching it or some sort of stupid thing (although Masons is hardly in the same ballpark as those 3 but was daft anyway). 

Be interesting to see what the clubs stance is and what other details emerge next few days.

what is her illness or health issue?

CHO did not give her COVID-19, he already had it long ago and thus cannot get  it or carry it (zero confirmed proof of either rei-infection or transmissibility post infection post recovery despite all sorts of bullshit FUD articles and fake hype)

even if he could, the gestation period is multiple days upon first infection, not hours or minutes, it isn't like a gas attack, ffs

surely she did not go out with an already raging case of COVID-19 and basically stagger over the 'non-hospitalized before and now off to the ER' finish line at CHO's place

Exactly. Who knows what happened? You can not trust someone you just met online. Apparently police searched his house. What if she put some drugs there? She can accuse him of who knows what. Hopefully he is innocent in all this...

I agree. Especially with the drugs, as we have seen the club's dispute with Inter over Mutu and his cocaine habit.

Since everyone r on one side slating Hudson-Odoi for doing what he did ... just a prespective from the other side, it could be possible that the person in question could have reached to Odoi asking for help or guidance since he was already a Covid patience and he was reaching out for help. It was still dumb nevertheless. 

 

 

P.S. I dont think my theory will stand right but mostly that is the explaination going to come out of Odoi's camp.

Just says there was a row so the police were called...so see what becomes of that. You'd hope nothing major but either way he is a idoit. Must know media pick up on these things and lo and behold it's in the papers slating him. Not a good look on his part

Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to reports.

Hudson-Odoi was reportedly taken into custody by police officers responding to a report of an unwell woman at his home. The 19-year-old England forward was later released and bailed. According to reports, Hudson-Odoi was joined by the woman in contravention of coronavirus lockdown guidelines.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan police said: “Police and London ambulance service were called at 03:53hr on Sunday 17 May to a report of an unwell woman. She was taken to hospital. A man was arrested at the scene. He was released from custody and bailed. Enquiries continue.”

Chelsea declined to comment. Hudson-Odoi recovered from coronavirus after testing positive for the virus in March.
