Great goal.  What a shame small offside.

I seem to remember a couple joke offsides denied when he was here as well.  Like that goal against United in the 90th minute last season which we lost 2-1.

You gotta wonder if they were even looking at the right angle to begin with...

Millions spent and we have to debate whether the right angles are on hand.

Should be fun in the CL

Showed more hunger in that one missed chance and passion in not scoring that we saw in several matches together.

His failing here is not only on him.

Think he suits Atletico down to the ground. He has a partner in attack, they play direct balls to use him as a focal point at times and cross a lot. Still disappointed how he faded here after a promising start,  if he could improve his mentality he'd be a good player. Still think he needs to work on that, Simeone maybe capable of getting that from him but remains to be seen.

He isn't fit to lead an attack by himself and that has been known for time. To think he could magically do that it in what is considered the most physical league was beyond stupid.

I personally think in Europe and Spain, he will do just fine even as lone striker but In epl he just cannot survive the physical battle.

Nah. We had Sheva and Torres both came with much higher pedigree than Morata. Both failed

OK Torres might be similar to Morata as he didn't reach the levels we wanted him to but I unlike some remember the good things that players do for us as well as the shite.

And Torres gave us some needed goals.

He was another player looking back with hindsight that the clues were already there before we bought him that he wasn't firing on all cylinders.  Even the scouse gits were laughing at us when we bought him
