Thor 2,774 Posted August 25, 2017 Share Posted August 25, 2017 Says all the right things and appears to be a good club presence. Not to mention, comes into the team unfit, no preseason, and off an injury and puts in a gritty performance. Certainly wasn't his best, but added the physicality we needed, and made the experienced physical Spurs midfield look like children at times. No Touch, No Vision, but a hard Labourer, willing to bury himself into the ground for the team until his Tongue hangs loose. I think half of the Time against Everton he's been laying flat on the Ground, which shows his physical commitment. It's just one Match, but a wise signing so far in my mind. Matic is a fleet-footed Marshall of the Game while Bakayoko is a stomping Labourer. Both Players have their Qualities. Matic is gone and not even worth mentioning. Bakayoko is here. A good signing so far and I hope Conte solves the Linup Puzzle before the Season turns into that delicate Phase where every single Point counts.
