Anyway, I wasn't talking about substitutions. I meant playing a bit wider, more diagonal balls, maybe Azpi and Cahill overlapping with Moses and Alonso? There is no room at all through the middle. 

Also, we need to try to isolate and keep running at their players with yellow cards.

This is what's annoying as fuck. Can't fault or slate them for playing like this when they need to and the games matter. To set up solely to defend with 10 behind the ball and packing the box in a match that's meaningless to them is pathetic.
