Trevoh is the younger brother of Nathaniel Chalobah, another Academy graduate, and signed as an Under-9. He played predominantly in defence throughout his schoolboy years, mostly at right-back and centre-back but also occasionally in midfield. Captain of our Under-16 side in the 2014/15 season, he also wore the armband for England at the same age group as they won the Montaigu Tournament. He featured on 10 occasions for our youth team that year when still a schoolboy and made his Under-21 debut. In 2015/16, Chalobah featured in every game en route to another FA Youth Cup final success and was a regular in our Under-19s team that retained their UEFA Youth League title. He captained England Under-17s at the 2016 European Under-17 Championship before signing a first professional contract in June 2016, committing him to the club until the end of the 2018/19 season.

Only suprize from yesterdays squad was young Trevs inclusion on the bench. Must have impressed Conte hope he is more use to us than Nate was.

With him,Ampadu,Serling,Mount,Dasilva and maybe Taylor-Crossdale we have a good batch of young hopefuls. Lets  keep our fingers crossed they end up saving us alot of money and time looking at other young stars to sign up.

It may be a bit early to include Martel in that list but we should definitely add Callum and Reece to it.

The more the merrier mate. I'm always hopeful for any of our youth when they get guven a chance to shine Its then down to them to take it. I just dont want us to over hype them like we have done upto now.

Is this still right thread for Trev? Gone to Ipswich now, his manager confirmed he’s signing as a midfielder which is disappointing for me, his future I’m almost certain will be at CB..but we’ll see
