How in the hell that is more balance.
It is in that sense more balanced that all the players in that formation play in their natural position.

Lampard names player linked with Chelsea exit as ‘one of the best players in the world’

https://www.chelsea-news.co/2020/05/lampard-names-player-linked-chelsea-exit-one-best-players-world/

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has pretty much put to bed any speculation that one of his first team players will be leaving the club anytime soon.

There were some rumours recently claiming that Chelsea could look to sell midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer with growing interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, Frank Lampard has been publicly stating the importance of a player whom of which he describes as ‘one of the best players in the world’, suggesting that there is absolutely no chance that he will be looking to sell the World Cup winner anytime soon.

The 29-year old has struggled with injuries over the last couple of seasons which has often sparked debates amongst Chelsea fans over whether now might be a good time to cash in on the midfield workhorse.

But Lampard has seemingly no intentions of cashing in, and as reported by Goal, has nothing but praise for Kante.

He said:

“We had four or five of those [injured players] when we finished playing recently. N’Golo Kante is obviously a great example because he’s played four or five incredible seasons in terms of his individual success and he’s been used quite rightly by his managers a lot.

“This season he’s played only about 40% of our games and even then it’s been difficult for him and I’ve really felt for him on an individual level. He’s been a huge miss for us.

“Looking forward, whenever a restart comes we want to get him in the best shape, want to get Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the best shape.

I really hope enough players make their displeasure known about the potential resumption & it doesn't go ahead.

If they're worried about CL/relegation, have playoffs in July at some point in worst case scenario.

This should make you (somewhat) happy, @Tomo...

I find it bonkers they have drawn such a PL return. When it ends badly, which it will, lets see if they take the blame.

It's probably not easy being the only one in the squad to make such a decision.

It's like when whole class run away from school because of the exam and that one nerd stays.

Genuinely didn't think about the on field implications re his decision until now.

The world is starting to reopen again, football is a part of that.

The world, or some parts of the world, may be reopening but whether it is safe to do so with sports is debatable. A lot of it is "forced" by the money involved...

Maybe but you also come in contact with others during a match or training and you never know where the other person may have gone to or who the other person may have come in contact with during the off hours. Regardless of what we do these days, the world will never be safe until a vaccine is found. There will always be that fear, paranoia floating around.
