BREAKING NEWS

Sky Sports News has been told that Liverpool are not interested in signing Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho.

Reports have suggested the Algerian is close to a move, but we’ve been told that there has been no contact between Leicester and Liverpool.

And while Jurgen Klopp is in the market for a creative forward player in the wake of Coutinho’s move to Barcelona, he has targets other than Mahrez in mind.

Leicester too, would want much more than the £50m fee suggested.

Buy him and a top10 lwb/lb and get a striker on loan and we are good to go 2nd half of season!

I was all in to get him, but now seeing they value him way above 50m, no thanks.

I thought we could land him for 40m for some reason.

He is a good player, but you can get much better abroad for that money.

Bollox. Klopps just saying that as to not upset the applecart. That moneys burning a hole in his pocket and as Lemars going nowhere he will snap him up.

Where was he yesterday? Wasn't even mentioned and nowhere to be seen. Summets going on with him.

This is not 2015 anymore.

40 million gets you average to mediocre players like Bakayoko

80 million gets you highly rated but not world class players like Morata

120 million+ gets you world class players.

My guess Leicester values Mahrez around the 70, 75million mark.

So we didn't buy Eden,Kante,Costa,Cescy for under £35m each

The trick is to KNOW WHO you want and get in very early. MIGHT just stand a chance then.

Why would Liverpool sign Mahrez, for Christ's sake? To play him as a number 10? Salah, their best player, plays on position where, arguably, Mahrez is only very good at.

They need number 10, not Mahrez.

Mahrez is not just a dribbler and a runner, he also creates. Plus he has the confidence and ability to take the ball in tight situaitons and hold it under pressure - something only Hazard is capable of in Chelsea's attack.

On Monday it’s been announced via France Football journalist Nabil Djellit that Mahrez could finally be set to make his next move.

The big update is that Riyad Mahrez still wants to leave Leicester City this month.

Moreover, Mahrez has an agreement with the Leicester owners that allows him to do so.

So what mahrez would cost £50m he's younger that Sanchez and would cost lesser wages aswell why Sanchez will cost £35m and agent fee are £5m-£10m and he wants 400 grand a week fuck Sanchez let's go for mahrez

That move would make too much sense

Want him here sooo badly. 😩

Imagining him playing in 3-4-3 against all these annoying smaller teams with Hazard and Morata. He makes so much sense.

I have this terrible feeling he'll end up at one of Arsenal, Spuds, or Liverpool which would be devastating.
