Yea he moans but he probably moans for a reason. He is clearly a top manager. He gets results wether you like him or not.

If true, deary me...

Hindsights a wonderful thing but looking back we really should have parted ways with him ourselves after the title regardless of the fan uproar it would have caused.

Atleast now it can put the idea that he wouldn't have behaved like this if he wasn't "fully backed" to bed, at Inter he's been given 17 new players at a combined cost of €200m (€271m if you include the options to buy with his loanes) and is still acting like a complete cunt.

The worst thing is I really don't get why he does it.

He's shown time and time again he can get average players punching and create a system better than the sum of it's parts. What did he really have to lose by just making that final push for six months? He wanted to stick two fingers up at the heirachy? No better way than doing it via Kiev (which was actually a realistic possibility as had we got past Barca Roma were tough but beatable if we learned lessons from the group stage and Conte had the measure of Klopp tactically so we'd have stood a decent chance Vs Liverpool, Real in the final would have been one step too far though). He could have only gained from just getting on with things.

Had he got on with it those last six months and done the absolute best he'd have left a hero (dare I say one tier short of club legend) due to the circumstances he was working under combined with that wonderful title season.

I remember something I said after that City game in March which even if I say so myself summed up the season in a nutshell, he wasn't even remotely to blame for the fact we couldn't defend the title but the fact we missed top 4 was 100% at his door.

Conte is the best short term coach I have seen my whole life. People may not like him, but his football brain is insane. I still can't believe he made us champions with guys like Moses and Alonso lol.
What I love about Conte so much is that he wants success. He does not care about anything else. He does not care if his players love or hate him. He just wants to win titles and he delivers every time. As a fan, I cannot ask for more

Conte clearly does not care about names. He came here and he realised from the beginning that Ivanovic was not good enough, so he sold him, regardless if eh was a big name or not in the dressing room. Mourinho and Hiddink played Iva every week. Conte realised that Oscar was an average Joe and he sold him. He also wanted to sell Willian and Luiz because they are bad as well, but Chelsea fired him instead lol. But Conte realised that both of them are not good enough. He sold Costa because he lacks technique and me personally, I felt it was the wrong decision, but in the end Costa never regained his form again after Chelsea, so I cannot say that it was a mistake. Chelsea fucked up big time with the replacements. He wanted Lukaku and got Morata. He wanted Alex Sandro and got Alonso. He wanted Danilo and got Zappacosta. He wanted Naingollan and got Drinkwater. So Conte became frustrated and understandably so.
Conte saw the right things, which our coaches usually do not see and he solved those, but our board created another problems for him to solve lol.

His players also know that when they play x amount of bad matches, you will be out of the team and maybe even be sold. He gets tired of you. When a guy like Mount plays x amount of bad games, Lampard will still play him in the next game after that and after that also, while Conte would bench him. Conte is ruthless because all he wants is success and that is why I love him. You either as a player play and give it all, or you will be benched or maybe even sold. Favoritism does not exist in Conte's world. Mount plays bad and he still plays the next match, even in positions where he plays worse than AM. Tammy plays bad and he is on the bench. Giroud plays bad and he is on the bench. Even when Kovacic plays bad, Lampard gives Barkley chances. But Mount gets another treatment. CHO plays really well against Liverpool and made a crucial assist, while Mount was bad the whole match and Mount played the next match as well, while CHO was on the bench again. That is so fucking unfair. But in Conte's world those things do not exist. He simply does not care about his personal relationships with players,so favourtism does not exist. He puts the best eleven out there. This is what I want. Give players a fair chance and when they do not perform, bench them. But giving special treatment to some players is something, me as a fan, hate so much.

People give Conte really not enough credit. But they criticize him when he critizises our board, but to be honest, I would be furious too if I sold the right players, but in the end, our board brought me bad players like Drinkwater, Alonso, Zappacosta, Morata etc.

I didn't want to believe it when he was here but TBH, Conte is almost just another Mourinho. Sure, they have the CV and track record but they just moan, moan and moan and some times, they moan for no apparent reason. It's almost as if they need some sort of chaos to thrive. At some point, the big clubs are gonna be very mindful of the antics and stay away from hiring them. It's why Mourinho has found himself at Spurs rather than say Bayern or Juventus and there's already that feeling that he is done at the highest level.

This thing with Conte's targets is that it is not exactly black and white. Yes, the board did not exactly back him but at the same time, some of his targets were duds. I mean, Antonio Candreva? Fernando Llorente? They would have been just as disastrous as the likes of Drinkwater, Zappacosta etc. Moreover, if we want to talk about hindsight, then it was also a good thing that we did not buy Sandro, Danilo and Nainggolan. Sandro hardly pulling up any trees at Juventus. Danilo has gone to Man City and flopped. Nainggolan is now on loan at Cagliari, after Conte deciding to bin him despite having wanted him at Chelsea.  Would have been hard to bin them, just like how we are struggling to bin certain players.

Furthermore, it is hard to know why he is even moaning now at Inter. He has got quite a lot of backing from the board in the transfer market, being able to sign his players and all that but he is still unhappy. Why? Conte may have the track record but if he wants to continue being like this, then go ahead because at some point, the big clubs are gonna be wary and tired of his antics - just like how clubs feel now with Mourinho, unless that club are really desperate for trophies - and not hire him. The only person to suffer then is Conte himself.

Am too lazy to check his teams but go through Conte's sides and am sure you would find players that he likes and rarely drops, even after bad performances. Every manager has their favorites and will rarely or not drop them at any cost, unfortunately and whether we like it or not.

Don't think people are not giving Conte enough credit. Our last title win was one of our more enjoyable ones, certainly better than the one before that IMO but it's just, like Tomo said, Conte has shown that he can motivate and coach a team to play and some times, punch above their weight and yet, he just likes to moan about things. It is what we have seen at Juventus, Chelsea and now at Inter. And he has been backed so much at Inter, arguably even more so than at Juventus and Chelsea. I don't know what conversation he had with the Inter board behind closed doors but having a manager who constantly moans in the media and creates this negative atmosphere is tiresome. We had it with both Mourinho and Conte. Heck, it's somewhat refreshing that Lampard isn't doing this in the media and especially after not being able to sign anyone in January.

We weren't pissed off with him because he criticised the board,we were pissed off with him because he refused to do his job properly and get the absolute best out of what he's got and what's even more hilarious is the January window that caused him to jack it in, he now wants to reunite with 2/3 signings from that month

Furthermore Conte also had access to the youth players Frank did, if he was that upset at the prospect of signing Morata, Bakayoko and Zappacosta, Tammy, Mount/RLC and James were available for him to use instead until a player of his choosing could be had.

Don't forget Alexis, if Conte had his way we'd have devoured our wage structure for the Chilean, he flopped hard at United and then he still went and signed him at Inter anyway

Conte? It depends on which aspects, IMO, because they are both very similar.

For all Jose's faults one thing I'll always give him is that he stayed commited to the job until the end. Yes he was unhappy he didn't get his players in, yes he let that be known in passive aggressive ways and ofcourse his man management was misguided at best, but I do believe underneath that all he did desperately want to turn things around.

Conte on the other hand is a ticking time bomb, he became uncontactable for two weeks in the summer of 2017 and then jacked it in after the January transfer window which cost us top four which also indirectly kicked off Liverpool's dominance. The only reason we as fans didn't feel the full brunt of his actions was because he couldn't speak English to a very expressive level, if he did I dread to think how bad his behaviour would have been.

Exactly, he doesnt moan cuz he likes it, he is fully grown ass man and knows what he wants and is a winner to boot. He instantly transformed them, that much cant be disputed.

Then why's he moaning now? He's been given 17 players (most recent one being a world class wingback that's tailor made for his system) in a year at a cost of €200m (€270 if he takes up his options to buy) which is an unprecedented level of spending for an Italian team not named Juve.

He's had his every wish catered for at Inter and he's still acting like a juvenile teenager.

Saying Conte likes to moan because he is a winner, knows he wants etc is silly. Does that mean the likes of Klopp, Guardiola are not winners because they do not moan?

You dont know what has happened behind the scenes. So he has bought for 200M, but he has also made them come second, instantly made an impact. YEs he might moan but also delivers.
