Meh. Don't think PSG is of interest to him. He'd be bored out of his mind.

Vice versa I think he would bore PSG fans and players out their mind :D

Manuel Pellegrini: I’d rather win title and be sacked than fail and stay

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jan/05/manchester-city-manuel-pellegrini-title-sack

hehehe Pelle with another dig at Mourinho.

But after all is said and done with Pellegrini having funds in a big team in the same scenario as Mourinho they have proven to be similar.

Okay manager that can win things here and there but nothing so amazing.

This is proof enough for me that as long as we spend good and have an okay manager we will be good.

And who are these "okay managers". The only two "okay managers" we had in 11 years are Mourinho and Ancelotti and it's clearly not enough.

Pellegrini is an okay manager as well.

I think Pochetino is in that same bracket. If we get him we would do good.

YH we would. Until they lose players. This somehow always happens at Chelsea.

Only Scolari, AVB and Mourinho. Other then that nope.

Pochetino is a much easier guy to work with then all these mentioned.

Well interim managers don't have enough time to lose the dressing room lol so that's why this list looks short ;)

Well Scolari and AVB where around the same length of time as interim managers time. So nope that rule doesn't apply here.

When there is an interim manager players don't fight to get him sacked. They fight for themselves, for the next season, etc.

Comparing José an "okay" manager to Pellegrini.....things i have to read in here.

Agreed. Not sure how anyone can compare a manager that was sacked for leaving his team one point above relegation to another one who will fight for the league until its end.

How is it any similar?

Pellegrino won the league by a very narrow margain, so far has done very little in Europe for City and never at any point under his management have City been undisputed number one.

Chelsea mark 1 under Jose however, won back to back titles in the most convincing and comfortable manners you can think off, went far in Europe smashing Barca and Bayern to peices en route only got get halted by Rafas bus parking tactics, we were head and shoulders above any other team in England and probably Europe as well, infact we were probably in those two season's the best and most complete side in English football history and if it wasn't for people having an issue with money spent and "style" then that team would have probably got recognized as so.

So yes, decent managers like Pellegrini can win things with money, but to create the sheer domination and aura of invincibility Jose created in 04-05 and 05-06, you need a lot more than a blank cheque to do that, a lot lot more!!!!

Yes you are right, Mourinho mark 1 was good.

I guess from now on I should refer to Mourinho mark 2. Because this Mourinho is a very average manager. This Mourinho has been living of past history from the mourinho mark 1.

I wouldnt say he was living off his past reputation that much, though his record spoke for itself, so maybe there was a bit of an extension to his tenure this time round that other managers wouldnt get in this era of Short Termism.

Mourinhos face looked so pissed off and devoid of passion in his post match PCs (bit like Hazard when hes playing now) np twinkly eyed mischief making as with before. So much shit hanging round like a big nappy- players not performing, lack of transfers, Evagate, his dad seriously ill -should have taken a sabbatical imo

I was just watching a news excerpt and the guy on air was speaking of his job as a nutritionist expert, and how every athlete you can think of is on a cocktail of drugs to perform well. The athletes would go to this guy when they want to come off the drugs, but maintain their physical edge.

It got me thinking.

Maybe we were good last season, and are dogshit this season. because of...doping ? Perhaps we've gone without it this season. Perhaps Eva was a doping specialist.

It would make sense considering how teams can drastically change form in such short periods of time. None of that psychology or laws of the universe spiel; it's the drugs.

Yes darling, you made our players look and feel 'better then they are'. It's clear as a day now. And go and take most of credit for our EPL title because of that.

But why on the earth would someone do that? In a club who cries for stability, for long term plans, for players developing.

That wasn't good for our players, no good for a long term of our club. Good only for Mourinho's record (not saying that it was the reason he done that, ofc.)

And now... Players are even worse than they REALLY was last years, and blame for that lies partly on you.
