... Go figure why we cannot buy great players ! It is because we are not attractive anymore !!

Ohh yeah agree amigo , the future is coming when not only will we be able to subscribe just to footie at a reduced price(sly doing it now!) but  we will be  able to just watch CFC at a nice price for da season ticket home and away:beer:...how much would you pay? i will chuck in a looky looky bracelet if u buy.lol

Got a lot of mates who are touts so no problem getting tickets but the question is who can afford to go to Chelsea these days ?.I'm from a different generation where you could pay on the day but the young and next generation of Chelsea fans are being priced out by day trippers and tourists.

When i joined Cfc membership back in late 80's-90's onwards i got to go to pretty much any game i wanted home and away even the 94 fa cup , now with the number bonus membership it is v.hard to get to games specially 2nd half of season and alot of prawn eaters/touts helped with that, give up my membership 2years ago , will probly wait until new stadium to go over again ...arse drink feck.

Reading have appointed Ron Gourlay as their new chief executive.

The former Chelsea CEO replaces Nigel Howe, who moves to the role of vice-chairman of the Championship club.

Why he left us?

Interesting article which could help explain some of the Boards actions perhaps? We all think these prices are ridiculous, with the ever changing landscape TV will no longer be dominant in 5-10 years. Something to keep an eye on.

Also to make a room for Chelsea queen Marina.

"His departure will increase the influence of Roman Abramovich’s adviser Marina Granovskai at a club where the balance of power is continually shifting."

Ahaha that's the first hurdle! July 19th my friend:D it's a long summer, let's see what we've got in the door by then(if any!) Conte is back tomorrow, the players are back Monday. Some action should start happening!

Is that action still on hold till July 19th?

She's been awful the past 2 years. Consistently missing out on our first choice targets.

Is it July 19th yet? Aha I feel like whatever the board does this summer isn't going to satisfy you, regardless of date.

Do you find this helps the team, your attitude? We have announced Rudiger, Bakayoko should be today. Working on other targets such as a striker/LWB/possibly a CM. I never said July 19th would be some massive signings just that Conte wanted some in before then. It's not an easy market, unless you're apparently AC Milan aha

July 19th here!

Now there's more people in the forum talking crap about the board then me.

I'm still disappointing, but I acknowledge that getting Rudgier and Bakayoko are great business.

The whole striker situation was all Conte fault. We are a in a tough position because of him.

So we will see what we can do, otherwise he is going to have to wing it with Bats.....unless we get a Pato type of striker at the end, like they did to us two seasons ago.....

Now I agree with you, even i have my limits aha i am very concerned about our striker situation. Conte did not handle it well but writing was always on the wall over his situation. Rudiger/Bakayoko/Hopefully Danilo are good business but if we don't get a top line striker (Morata/Belotti) in we are in some real trouble. I, like you, am very disappointed in how this is being handled. I am not as frustrated as you or most are but i am quickly joining haha.

Now it's working the other way, everyone knows Conte and Costa have a broken relationship and we need a striker, and now even more so, the situation is critical. We couldn't be more desperate or be up shit creek without a paddle as we are now.
