Rumoured John Stones

Imagine paying all that money when they could sign van Dijk from Southampton who is at about the same level and also very comfortable on the ball. English players prices will get even worse as well that's the worst thing about it.

Surely Kompany is as good as done at City now? I reckon we should put a sneaky bid in for him, if we could get him fit and back to what he was at 2 years ago he'd be the signing of the season.

Funny Stones hasn't came out and said that he wanted to sign for Chelsea this season! He still has decent potential but he's not Carlsberg. Hope we have no more silly dealings with Everton again .

they have phoney sponsorships with various UAE companies worth hundreds of millions of dollar, purposefully over inflated amounts which are in reality not really for the sponsorships but rather a way for the abudabi royalty to fund their team "legally"... although now that ffp seems to be over, they could just do the cash injections directly but it looks better presented under the guise of sponsorships

Mangala, Otamendi, Stones and Kompany...good luck trying to keep all those happy

As long as theyre doing their job you can let 1 spit his dummy out and its coming to the end of Kompany so just rotate the other 3. A problem I'd love us to have.

guys if you go to uefa.com / championsleague / Manchester City / squad - defenders - 24. John Stones

£42m + add-ons from what I've heard. Remind me how much we offered for him last year?

In an alternate reality, we would have Pogba and Stones right now. But instead, we live in a state of depression and still desperate for reinforcements.

So they have Mangala, Kompany, Otamendi, Stones for CB and we have Cahill and JT. :smh:

Mangala is certain to leave, wasn't even named in their CL playoff yet Stones was. He's been shit for City but call me crazy I'd still have him at Chelsea anytime, couldn't do worse than our current lot and would have potential to be a big hit next to his countryman Zouma. Doubt City would sell him to us tho.
