Good to see his move paid off, winning a trophy.. oh wait he could of been doing that here. Anyway he was a bit better than average, was a good move for us to get rid of him. Pity his career sort of slowed down after that first 2 seasons where there was mixed performances, there was something there although we only seen in fits and spurts, doubt he'd ever make it as a number 10 at a top team which we were aspiring to be, his stats weren't consistent enough for that.

I will always wonder what if mourinho had not overworked Oscar as the 4th mid for that title win. On the other hand a competent wildcard, 4th mid, workhorse, is key to winning silverware.

He feels nostalgic.

Can't believe we sold a top class LB in Filipe.

Funny thing is, he barely set the world alight after we sold him, not that he did that here.

He had a fairly great overall run at Atlético Madrid:

La Liga: 2013–14

Copa del Rey: 2012–13

UEFA Europa League: 2011–12, 2017–18

UEFA Super Cup: 2012, 2018

UEFA Champions League runner-up: 2013–14, 2015–16
