It looks like EUFA will make sre it will be a classico in the final. Some odd decisions going Madrid's way.

EDIT: 2-1

it'll still be an el clasico final, anyway. they just need one goal and a cleansheet at home and they're going to the final. i'm really hoping it won't be the case, though.

this is why a 2 or 3 goal advantage for the 2nd leg against barca is crucial.

Bayern has good mid and offense, but their defense is a joke!

Only great player is Lahm, other then that not good.

Madrid did almost enough, just that last goal took them by surprise.

Madrid will do better next game and should be better match.

But still hopefully Bayern to the final! blue%20scalf.gif

This should be red card for Marcelo... Stupid...

Congrats for Bayern, good result, but still it will be very difficult for them...

A very even game, 2nd half Bayern took control and Mourinho had to response by bringing marcelo and granero to play more defensive.

Btw Ronaldo was invicible, yes he made an assist but the credit should belong to benzema who made a good cross and had a very good game

Madrid were defeated because of Ronaldo's stolen boots. He played in an unworn pair so he wasn't able to perform at his best, which led to a struggling Real Madrid side

That's just so obvious...

Decent result for both teams really. It will probably be a shit el classico final but football is a funny ol' game. Madrid have their away goal, 1-0 does for them. You dont really want to see a UCL final where one is actually at home do you? They should not even allow that.

Not many complained when Manu played at Wembley though. They had the vast majority of the crowd on their side normally.

When Madrid is on fire its like they're possessed and the build-up to Ozil's goal was fukken magic...

Team talk would be the key in the Final and Jose is one of the best at that, so his players would surely be up for it.

Bayern, however, are beatable - they barely beat Madrid.

Bayern-Chelsea final definitely more preferable for me... but Chelsea-Madrid would be epic (especially Jose's face when we beat them :eyebrows: )

But first let's beat Barcelona tomorrow.. 2-0 I say.

Credit to Bayern, an impressive performance tonight to keep Madrid at bay by limiting their chances and managing to look dangerous going forward and converting a couple of their own chances. In particular Ribery (minus the theatrics), Kroos and Alaba were all excellent. Ribery was probably the most threatening player on the pitch but it was Kroos who impressed most, the lad is very highly rated in Germany and, along with Ozil and Goetze, makes up a formidable wealth of playmaker options for Germany to choose from.
