In our current state and with other PL giants all wanting him I don’t think Guehi would consider us for a second even with his connection to the club. In fact, us “giving up” on him and selling him is probably something he holds against us. Others may disagree but I feel like I’ve said here before in the last couple of windows that while Guehi is a very solid CB, he isn’t the massive upgrade who’d instantly solves our issues at the back that everyone is desperate for. Ben Roberts back to GK coach. Can someone please tell me why he was given a job title that is “Head of Global Goalkeeping” like the job itself, what does it even entail? Either way - Sanchez is clearly here to stay then.

Essugo to go on loan? So we are going to be looking to sign another MF player in January? Can’t rely on just Caicedo, Santos & Enzo every week. Lavia’s fitness & injury record also doesn’t inspire confidence.
