If we have been linked to Tonali & are serious about it, pull the trigger. No questions or doubts. Genuine top player, right age, physically capable, gets around the pitch well, good variation in his passing, play as a 6 or an 8. Would be an excellent signing in fact but any links/move would probably be too good to be true. Be more PR from the wankers upstairs. Him, Caicedo & Fernandez/Palmer would be a very good midfield 3 - be it with a 6 & two 8’s or two 6’s & a 10.

Perhaps but then again, you cannot afford to let guys like Garnacho & Hato in particular play as badly for as long as they did today. Yes he subs them at HT but should’ve been ruthless and done a lot earlier to no complaints. And maybe if he had, we get going a bit sooner because that left side was an absolute joke between Badiashile, Hato & Garnacho. I don’t think I’ve seen such a bad attacking performance from an individual player since Ramires v Man City under Rafa, honestly abysmal.
