Leif 6,006
I'm loving him at centre back. When he's played at right back for a few games and then centre back, he's looked shakey. But now they he's starting there regularly he's really filling his potential finally IMO.

Nando 106
One of the very few to show some passion, determination and desire yesterday.
GermanBlue 82
Honestly, I can imagine him being our future captain when Lamps and JT are gone, as I'm not a friend of goalies as captains. Give him 2-3 more injury-free season at this level, and he can do it. He's one of our most passionate players IMO.

CHOULO19 24,332
I thought he was so bad yesterday with those endless horrible shotsYou don't judge his performance by those shots, he's our CB! He did his job perfectly yesterday and got forward involved in attacks when people in front of him failed to do theirs. He played with all his heart Yesterday. My MOTM. BlueLion. 21,484
Absolutely. He was doing the job of the attackers as well.

Rubber bullets 1,183
Should be shoved into the reserves for the next month and have his wages docked. Absolutely disgraceful, not just the mistakes, but the casual style he took on the pitch
Jase 43,476
Disappointed with Ivanovic tonight. Of all people to be making mistakes, never expected him to have done so, especially when those mistakes are such schoolboy errors!!

JDY 1,250
Unfortunate mistakes that could've happened to anyone. I sense Ivanovic is the type of character that will come back stronger and not let his self confidence crumble like others (Yes, him).
Popular Post Corner 456
I'll probably get a lot of abuse for this but fuck it. Ivanovic was absolutely disgraceful. Two ridiculous mistakes that cost us and his attitude throughout the whole match was even more of a disgrace.I've been saying this since September but he his performance and attitude has dropped a hell of a lot this season. Not many will admit it because he's one of 'the old guard.' Credit where credit is due, but also criticism where criticism is due. We played very well tonight as a team and he let us down big time. Many will say I'm over-reacting but I don't think so. And this isn't some impulsive complaining either. I've been saying this about Ivanovic since the start of the season. The truth is, if Luiz had made just one of those mistakes, there would be 30+ posts in his thread saying how bad he is. I'm sick of the double standards. And before anyone turns this into a Torres discussion... Torres was also dreadful and does not deserve to wear that badge on his chest.

They were mistakes that came about from his dreadfully casual attitude and he should not escape criticism.

If everybody will be punish and docked his wages, Torres would be homeless right now.

Yet some people either want him to partner Terry or go back to RB and replace the much better performing Cesar.
Corner 456
If anyone actually thinks that Ivanovic is better at RB than Azpilicueta then they are delusional.

Otherwise he has better cross than Cesar,
