Shit! I was hoping "slight" meant that he will be ready. Tottenham's midfield is not that good, but we can still use his pace to exploit the spaces behind their defense.

NO.

1-2 in the league..... If you compare them to Europe, than probably not....

Have you actually seen them play? Paulinho has absolutely no end product and can't find the right pass for his life, capoue before his injury was just laughable and Dembele is strong going forward but is often out of position in defense. Just watch their game against Arsenal. I have no doubt that we'll dominate them.

Arsenal midfield dominated us last season.

Now, they have a superb ramsey rather than mikel v. 2.0 as their cm.

In addition, their cms are still better than ours.

That's not really the point (nor is true since we dominated Arsenal in the first game and in the first half in the second game but Rafa decided to park the bus in the second half).

Anyway, to get back on topic, Ramires will be a huge miss even if Tottenham's midfield is not that great.

Hello, people! I am very happy for having scored my first goal of the season with @chelseafc. It was not a perfect day only because of a muscle discomfort I felt at halftime, but I hope it's nothing serious. I would like to thank @torres for the excellent pass and dedicate this goal to my son David and my wife Islana. Love you, guys! So happy!! Let's go, Chelsea!

I think Jose wants to give Spurs some hope for Saturday.

his substitute Ramires had to go off with a muscular injury at the top of the hip in the gluteal area which was causing more discomfort as he tried to run it off.

"He'll be a major doubt for the Tottenham game at the weekend. They're the two major disappointments of the evening."

Holland after the match

rats!

Yeah I saw that on talkchelsea's twitter feed. Shame.

I know, I was doing the feed :P

On Rami, there should be more concrete news today as he'll probably have a scan to assess the damage.

Oh, and I always say this and always get criticized for it, but I'll say it again: Ramires is the best finisher we have in our squad.

You shouldn't get criticized for it, I said it in the match thread and IMO he is.
