@, how flat is the wicket now?

I've lost count of the number of times India have had opposition reeling at scores like these only to have 9, 10 and jack hang around and spoil the party so wrap it up quick, fellas.

Flat as a pancake mate. Was lucky enough to be allowed on the outfield today and chat to one of the groundsmen at Trent Bridge with whom I'm friends with. Obviously wasn't allowed on the wicket, but looking at it from five-ten feet away, it looks a dustbowl.

Jimmy Anderson is currently 51*. His first ever test 50. His first ever first-class 50. 93 tests, 180 ODI's, 167 FC games. Finally has a 50.

Elsewhere, Root has his 4th 100, and the lead is down to around 40. Great effort guys.

A little gutted Jimmy didn't make his century. Can't wish for everything though can we.

Tbh though. Two number 11's making 50+. Both 10th wicket pairs made 100+ partnerships, one being a world record 198. Doesn't say much for the pitch does it (or Cook for that matter). Could be 0-0 in a 5 match series if this carries on.
