Chelsea turn their attention away from the UEFA Champions League semi-final with Barcelona on Wednesday, and onto the race with Liverpool for the Premier League's runners-up spot. We haven't finished outside the top two for five seasons, and we could at least clinch third place and entry to the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, by winning this match and beating Arsenal next weekend.

Guus Hiddink has resisted any temptation to rest a significant number of regular starters.

In a powerful line-up for this London derby, Ashley Cole returns at left-back with José Bosingwa swapping back to the right.

Michael Ballack is one of the Barcelona starters who will begin today on the bench. That makes space in the 11 for Nicolas Anelka to join Didier Drogba in attack.

John Terry will play his 400th Chelsea game.

Fulham make one enforced change, Norwegian striker Erik Nevland in for injured Andy Johnson.

Chelsea will line-up as follows:

1 Petr Cech

17 José Bosingwa

33 Alex

26 John Terry ©

3 Ashley Cole

8 Frank Lampard

12 John Mikel Obi

5 Michael Essien

15 Florent Malouda

11 Didier Drogba

39 Nicolas Anelka

Substitutes: 40 Hilario, 2 Branislav Ivanovic, 35 Juliano Belletti, 42 Michael Mancienne, 13 Michael Ballack, 9 Franco Di Santo, 21 Salomon Kalou.

Fulham are expected to line-up in the following 4-4-2 formation:

Schwarzer; Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky; Dempsey, Murphy ©, Etuhu, Gera; Zamora, Nevland.

Substitutes: Zuberbuhler, Baird, Dacourt, Smalling, Gray, Stoor, Kamara.

The referee is Alan Wiley.
