On paper he's a perfect fit although i'm slightly paranoid about City fans feeling he's not been as good last two years.

To be fair he did set a very high bar for himself in 2017-2020.

He has still put up very respectable numbers in the two seasons since, even if he hasn't quite reached the same heights (+40 G/A) again.

Is he taking the worlds longest medical or something? Feels like this has been done for a week but still no announcement.

I think everything is done. they will try to announce him at a a time of maximum engagement.

Didn't Marina handle the new signing marketing end? Given she's now gone I don't expect anything to be in place to present Sterling. Might just be some generic presentation once Sterling is in the states.

Intrigued by the signing. The best attacker we've signed in a while bar Havertz. He's impressed mentally and seems to be able to handle the pressure of being a leading figure at a big club. He's had a leadership role in the England squad under Southgate, has experience playing in attacking systems and presses tirelessly off the ball. Tuchel will love him

He's better than havertz imo

Probably the most consistant “flair player” we’ve had since GZ. He’s played for rival teams but never thought of him as a knobhead..not appreciated by factions of England fans so he’ll fit in with ours.

surprised we got him really as would have thought he’d like to play in another league but maybe the pull of coming home to London was stronger for him.
