Actually our coach Şenol Güneş said that he wants to play 3 center back system depending on the matches and he did try 3 at back system in a friendly match against Azerbaijan a week ago but we didn't

None Shall Sleep -Nessun Dorma - no probably not with those fucking fireworks. Get on with it....

Cesc saying Jorginho is a genius, but needs to release the ball forward more

I am so excited to see what my country will do. We have one of the best generation of ours this year and i am so hopeful. Last time in Euro 2016 we weren't able to qualify out of the group unfortunately, but this time we have great players playing for big clubs in Europe. We have one of the best defensive lines in the tournement including Çağlar Söyüncü who plays for Leicester City and selected the second best center back in Premier League last year,  Ozan Kabak who played for Liverpool this season and Merih Demiral who plays for Juventus. Also, we have great goalkeepers such as Uğurcan Çakır who propably gonna make transfer to one of the big clubs in Europe after the tournement and Altay Bayındır also. I really really do trust this defensive line and i am sure they won't disappoint me.

On the other hand, when we look at the midfielders and wingers, there are a lot of good options such as Hakan Çalhanoğlu who did an amazing job this season in Milan, Cengiz Ünder,Okay Yokuşlu and Ozan Tufan. And let's not forget what Burak Yılmaz, Yusuf Yazıcı and Zeki Çelik achieved this season in Lille. I mean they have a huge part in Lille being champion in France. The only thing that  scares me is that we don't have many options in strikers. I mean Burak Yılmaz is a great striker but if he gets injured or something, i doubt other players.

We did an amazing job and became third in Euro 2008. This time we even have better squad. I don't say that we are one of the favourites, but i won't be surprised even  if we become champions.

I agree that you have very interesting team with great defense but I will definitely be surprised if you win it. That is ott.

I think you are better than SWI and Wales so group should not be a problem.

Btw why Turkey dont try 3 at the back system with Kabak, Demirel and Soyuncu? One is always one the bench.

Actually our coach Şenol Güneş said that he wants to play 3 center back system depending on the matches and he did try 3 at back system in a friendly match against Azerbaijan a week ago but we didn't do well because our players are not used to play it. We are propably going to continue to play 4-3-3 during Euro 2020 but after the tournament I'm sure that coach will continue to try and implement 3 center back system.

Tomorrow we are opening the tournament with a match against Italy. Italy is one of the favorite teams in the tournament and they have absolutely amazing players. I know Roberto Mancini and what he can do very well from his Galatasaray years in Turkey. We totally respect them, but we are definitely going to play for 3 points. We proved that win can against any team during qualifiers of Euro 2020 and World Cup 2022. I am expecting Turkey to make pressure and disrupt their play and effort to create chances. Because if we let Italy to play with the ball and defend, I'm sure they will score. They have great strikers like immobile and Belotti. We have to make pressure and after we take the ball, we should do fast attacks.

I wish Italy success and good luck for the match. I hope we will watch a good match.

Chiesa on the bench. Verratti not even there. ANDIAMO RAGAZZI!

Your betting tip? Not just result wise. Immobile to score?

I think Italy can go all the way and I will support them this tournament.

But this is tricky game. Wouldn't be surprised if it finishes 0:0. Turkey is also very good team.

I was expecting Cengiz Under to play instead of Yusuf Yazici but I understand why he is on the bench. He didn't play so many games in Leicester City this season. Yusuf Yazici is also a great attacker. He had a big role in Lille being champion this season. We are so lucky that we have a great players on the bench also. Let's go Turkey!
