Our sketchy performances at Goodison Park continue. Quite poor going forward and not having natural wingers on the field really showed.

Play first in the next set of fixtures, so hopefully we can bounce back.

Oh, shit. Everton were already in a rough patch of form with James in their side. Without him they aren't nearly as dangerous. That's their best attacking player out and both starting fullbacks.

Continuing with the 4-3-3 with Abraham and Werner flanking Giroud was laughable.

Remember when we had a fit Pulisic after the restart last season? For a significant number of games? Good times...

The lads are weak mentally, and it showed today. That's why I'm expecting a top four battle from now on. I had high hopes for us to challenge for the title this season, but reality hit us hard today.

Without that pace and threat of our wingers we are nothing. These players mask the shortcomings of the likes of Tammy and Giroud who are average. That sight of Ziyech or Pulisic, or CHO combining with our fullbacks scares the hell out of opponents. Take that away and we're painfully short of ideas and easy to contain as we saw.

And up next it's another midtable side who is struggling with form and also missing some of their best players. Great.

Lampard - 'We are fully fit.' And we go the hospital in big numbers.

A certain player - 'We feel we cannot really lose.' Everton appears.

Just shut the fuck up next time.

He was asked if the players were fit. At the time they were. What you expecting him to say. Or you claiming there is some super natural jynx lampard out on the team after saying they were fit. Jesus [emoji23]

I'm already hearing excuses of Everton "turning up" against us or it being "one of those" days. The fact of the matter is we weren't strong mentally and we barely created legit goalscoring chances. If Reece and Chilly have an off day we're fucked, and that's what was the most surprising. We couldn't even score against a Everton side that had so many injuries, it's just unacceptable.

Frank deserves his fair share of criticism here.

We looked clueless from the start and he didn't do anything. Absolutely nothing changed through the 90 minutes. Havertz obviously is not suited to play on the RW but we persisted with him. Timo is also not the typical winger that can cause havoc with his dribble.

We are often too safe with our passing  and not trying to find gaps between the lines . The evidence is that our possesion is mostly in our half or around the central line. We do it every game but today it was even more frustrating after their penalty.

Same old, same old, we're the perfect tonic for out of form teams, I mean it's been going like this for fucking bastard years, there is no other club in Europe to gift points to struggling ones the way Chelsea does it every season.

Got beaten by Alex fucking Iwobi. Fuck off

We don't have flexibility yet to change systems

Don't have the flexibility yet? Have you forgotten that Lampard changed formation like every game last season!?
