It's 2020. Does he really think people are stupid and gonna fall for his usual tricks? He came and parked the bus and ultimately got what he wanted. Typical of him to say otherwise and control the narrative. 🙄

Of course he does, he knows he easily could have lost that match, in no shape or form did spurs have the balls to have a go at us. He even said his team is a pony, not a race horse yet, said the same with us in 13-14.

Taking off Werner was a massive mistake

Have we all given up on Werner as a striker? I mean, I get that we have great crossers in team so having Abraham/Giroud maybe makes sense, but come on... Havertz and Pulisic are fit, let's try them wi

Abraham doesn't have a clue what to do with Ziyech's crosses, should have brought Giroud earlier. They've been on the pitch together for only 4 minutes for fucks sake. A player with a good pass and cr

Mou was shit scared of Chelsea, came here and plundered a 0-0 that's what he wanted, with his fucking 6-4 formation, with Kane and Son as DMF's:dance:

We didn't even have to contend with them, they were all but invisible.

Yup, he just wanted to be top of the table-wont last though, they'll go all spursy as usual

It's funny reading all the quotes from Mou and the Spuds players. Shows what a small club mentality they have when they are essentially treating a 0-0 park the bus special as some sort of massive step for them. 😂

Two big games in a row for them where Mou set them up like a double decker, played in hopes for a mistake from the opponent, and then when City obliged let Kane or Son take advantage. It worked to perfection against City because they had no central midfield and were tactically stupid just allowing Kane the freedom of the park. We on the other hand have Kante, Kova, and were set up brilliantly. Kane and Son were just about invisible and didn't even get a sniff of a chance.

Lets see if those tactics can carry them for a whole season. I have my doubts. They're still totally dependent on Kane and Son remaining fit. And Kane gets injured every season.

It's obvious that Mendy isn't the only one who has improved our defence but here's our xG conceded WITH and WITHOUT Mendy in the Premier League this season:

WITHOUT MENDY
vs Brighton - 1.05 (conceded 1)
vs Liverpool - 2.12 (conceded 2)
vs West Brom - 0.58 (conceded 3!!!)
vs Southampton - 1.88 (conceded 3)

WITH MENDY
vs Crystal Palace - 0.15 (clean sheet)
vs Man United - 0.66 (clean sheet)
vs Burnley - 0.5 (clean sheet)
vs Sheffield United - 0.43 (conceded 1)
vs Newcastle - 0.35 (clean sheet)
vs Spurs - 0.19 (clean sheet)

Thanks for doing that 👍

We've conceded 1 goal in 6 games with mendy. Imagine if we had a preseason and him from the start. Rewind to the Southampton game and I think most people would laugh if you said we would concede like 3 goals in the next 10 games.

But that's gone. But we are a team who has a lot of attacking talent and are the most solid team defensively in the league right now. No one wants to play us. If lloris doesn't pull off that worldy safe or tammy scores one of those headers and we win then the narrative shifts. But under the radar is fine and if we keep improving then we can be a force to be reckoned with.

Exactly, the future is bright, the future is blue 👍

Look at JM ffs, he said the happiest aspect of the match was that his players were not happy after the game.....go fool yourself cuz you aint fooling us Jose. They are delighted they got a draw, you came to park the 18 wheeler  and you surrvived, barely. He is doing this to remove the attention away, but at the same time claims his team is a pony.

Mourinho saying they are not happy with a point, but setting whole tactic way too secure and defensive - exactly what usually leads to 0-0 games.

Yeah... and I'm not happy because I am getting wet, who cares that I am jumping in the puddle.

and how long before those same fickle spuds supporters start getting fed up with his defensive formations.

They're singing his praises now being void of any success in the past, wait til reality bites.:o

Watched the Fulham game and was very happy with the result. It is like the top part of the table just treaded water this week. That does bring the chasers below closer though. I was also very pleased to see how confident and how good RLC's movement is. It is great he is getting a lot of minutes to get back after his injury. We didn't move past the teams ahead of us, but we didn't lose ground either.
