Bit strange of Livramento to want to go to Brighton, isn’t it? They just bought a Chelsea youth RWB last year and he was arguably their best player.

Noise Lamptey will be a winger

Lamptey can play on the left also.

Tbf, we are/were horribly bloated. There are probably another 9 that could leave and it wouldn't make any difference:

Emerson

RLC

Barkley

Ziyech

Baka

Batsh*t

Zappa

Baba

Drinky

we started at 72 (not a typo) players to sort out

I need to update my list soon as many have been resolved since my last update

Are City honestly thinking of selling Laporte? If so we should be all over that. Not many CB's in the world of his level and left footed.

Brighton probably will sell him. Arsenal are linked with him incase they sell Bellerin.

What we paid for Chillwell would do. between 50 and 45, especially if we are giving them a player.

Otherwise he will stay there another season.

im really tired to watch some ex  Chelsea  player wearing arsenal kit , every season - Cech, David Luiz , Willian (not so much)

There's no bigger seal of approval than players giving us their prime years then going there to wind down or in Tammy's case going there because he can't get in the team.

It fully confirms if it hasn't already exactly who is the bigger club now.

Better for us that Arse are saddled with a average striker like Tammy than potentially signing another really good one like Aubameyang.

So yeah, I was sadly wrong about feeling good this week in regards to incomings.

Looks like we legitimately do need to prepare ourselves for the possibility that we won’t sign a single player.

There is still August left.. don't stress too much. Fabrizo said next week and beyond will be very busy and clubs are playing the waiting game to see how the market pans out

This window goes to the end of August unlike prior ones that finished on the first day of the season. This has also been a EURO/COPA year and lets not forget Covid which means most players would've wanted a real break for their three-four weeks off.

Additionally, the only real deals that have been done are:

Hakimi - Inter needed to sell early owing to finances

Sancho - A deal that essentially took a year +.

I suspect this window will be a trickle then a deluge.

Metro is reporting that Arse will pay Tammy's wages and they put Laca up for sale for 15m to fund it. This indicates that we will sign a striker or someone in that mould, even if it is just cover for Havertz/Werner (basically the squad role that Tammy was holding up).

Anyone want to discuss availible CF3's in case Haaland doesn't pan out? Any chance we sign him and loan back in Jan? Other positions we may supplement are CM4 , CB, RWB and GK3. We need a Ramires type player that could cover 3 of those positions. Rice can cover 2 but I really don't like spending 60m on him and he is not as versatile.

There is also the chance we sign no-one, in which case:

GK3 Bergstrom

CB Sarr

RWB Sterling

CM Baka/RLC

CF Broja

Sources: Chelsea submitting £130m Haaland bid after Abramovich vow

Chelsea are submitting a £130million bid for Erling Haaland after the green light from Roman Abramovich, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Champions League holders have discussed multiple player-plus-cash options with Borussia Dortmund as they continue plans to lure the 21-year-old.

A Chelsea source has told Football Insider that the club have now lined up a straight cash offer of £130m for Haaland.

That is believed to be the highest Abramovich is willing to go for what would be a British-record deal.

The mega-rich owner has vowed to bankroll a mega-money centre-forward move as he looks to build on last season’s Champions League triumph.

The club are working on deals for Haaland, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku.

They hope to get at least one over the finish line.

This site revealed on 17th July that Dortmund have knocked back the chance to take Timo Werner in exchange as part of a Haaland deal.

However, Chelsea are set to return with a cash-only deal in a bid to tempt Dortmund into selling.

Haaland, who turned 21 on Wednesday (July 21st), was in electric form for the German outfit last season.

He netted 41 goals in 41 games across all competitions, including 10 in eight Champions League appearances.

Chelsea’s desire for a prolific goalscorer comes just a year after they signed Werner for a reported £45million last summer.

He scored 12 times in 52 appearances, although only six of his goals came in the Premier League.

Football Insider revealed in June Abramovich is spearheading a potential move to re-sign Inter Milan hitman Lukaku.

The Belgium international only played 15 times and failed to score during his first spell at Stamford Bridge.
