I'm sure Jorginho won't play tomorrow. If he was rested against Bosnia too that would be 18 days between his last match and the next one against City. So I see no issue Mancini playing him. It's preparation game for Euro. Best Brazilian and Argentinian players just played friendly game.

Even though that was a friendly, Brazil and Argentina are arch rivals. They weren't going to play B teams, especially when this international break is their last chance to prepare for their World Cup qualification next March. Hardly the greatest example to use there.

Also, it's funny people keep on mentioning not playing for 2 weeks like it's a bad thing when Azpi, for example, has often got those weeks off and still managed to produce solid, consistent performances (at least in previous seasons) in recent years.

Scored and helped the team to a 9-1 victory.

I guess it wasn't exactly stressful. emoji1.png

still, Mancini gave us a bollocksing

the full 90

and just so happens we play Shitty, his old team, in 5 days (so 4 days rest, and one is a travel day)

4 days rest is more than plenty of time. Hes made it through unscathed despite people thinking he should of been rested. Less international breaks throughout the season would be better but wont happen quickly enough.

Tried to force a pass into traffic and then dumbly dived in on that De Bruyne goal yesterday.
For all his good performances, he hasn’t made his mark against the big teams yet, has he? And no, I’m not counting Ajax! His flaws are certainly getting exposed in such big games.

We've only had three games Vs big teams this season, one of which he scored in and was arguably MOTM!

I’m counting from the time he came to the club. His impact against the big teams has certainly not been good as the impact he’s shown against the smaller teams.

I thought in the games against Arsenal and Spurs last season he was good?

Struggled defensively for a period v Arsenal in that 3-2 game actuallu but the whole team did and in the community shield he wasnt much use.

Also vs Arsenal in the europa final as well as v City in the other final last season thought he played well too.... maybe just me.

Struggled yesterday though for sure.
