Today has clearly showed the bar which Chelsea must work towards reaching. At this moment we are pretty far away but the overreaction today on this forum is incredible. Sarri has been at the club

I'm telling you now, to all the SarriOut supporters.... you don't know how lucky we are to have a humble manager like Sarri... a man with principle, passion, an expansive free flowing footballing phil

The decline in performances is a lot down to one thing, The lack of training pitch time. He is coming in, trying to teach the squad a totally different brand of football to what the players are a

I agree with what your saying but we are playing an absolute machine of a team. I think it will be like last night, and over at HT.

It is for a trophy, Shitty (and Pep) want to break Barca's Sextuple (in a calendar year) in 2009

Shitty can still win

Community Shield

League Cup

FA Cup

EPL

CL

UEFA Super Cup

FIFA Club World Cup

would be the

I doubt that will happen. Barca had the benefit that they could rest many players in the league and the Sapnish league was even worse than it is now. and they had prime Messi.

I know it is clutching onto straws but if there is a way to defeat them by luck it has to be in that game. We lose as oon as we concede but if we just don't concede we a have a chance.

shows what Sarri really thinks of CHO. Only played him because the board were afraid he could riot to force through the move. Sarri clearly does not rate CHO which shows what a poor judge of talent he is. Sure, CHO has hardly been breathtaking but Willian has been atrocious.

It's like the club and management concocted a plan and now they are 'out of the window' it's like a great big 'fuck you'

I wouldn't blame if he left in the summer and totally rail roaded the club in his interviews, they deserve all they get.

I really don't understand Sarri. I want to believe in his project and I think the board were in this for the long-term as well. However, his in game management (or lack thereof) and lack of rotation is making him indefensible. I believe that the most of the fans and the board would be willing to stick with him for at least another season if he at least tried different formations like 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-1-2 which are familiar to him and he tried different players and gave more chances to the likes of CHO. He has done himself no favours with this constant favouritism of certain players and a very rigid formation. The man has been digging his grave from the beginning and it has been very sad to see. In my opinion he could have become the first trophyless coach in the Roman era to avoid sacking at the end of a season if he just tried something different. Somehow he has managed to screw up this opportunity to build his own project at Chelsea.

I do wonder if a longer pre-season would have helped him to assess the squad better and realize that players like Alonso and Azpilicueta simply cannot play his football and thus he would have either requested transfers or tried other players (like Aina, James or Baba) in those roles from the beginning. Maybe, maybe not.
